We were self catering in one of the coach houses a very short drive from the pub. The accommodation had been beautifully renovated and very spacious. The bathroom was huge and luxurious. A wood burner was set ready to burn, but the heating was so good we didn't need it. The dishes and cutlery was provided in a separate box indicating it had been sterilized from the last use which was really reassuring. The accommodation had direct access to a lovely garden and private parking. Would definitely return given the chance.
A warm welcome to The Angus Hotel & Spa, Blairgowrie’s premier leisure hotel and one of only 4 hotels in Perthshire with a modern, fully-equipped leisure club and indoor swimming pool.

Everything! The warm welcome by the hosts. The well presented accommodation. Everything we could possibly need. In the kitchen there is everything you could want. Microwave, toaster, air fryer, fridge & small freezer. Hosts Alan & Joyce, kindly left fresh milk & orange juice in the fridge ready. Bed comfortable.
As a disabled person the property was ideal at all one level & accessible shower. Perfect x

Small hamlet with no shops.
Small hamlet with no shops. Lovely area for walking and fishing. Stayed and ate at the local hotel and the accommodation and food were lovely. Hotel was immaculate. Check out the famous beech tree hedge. Apparently the biggest on earth!! Looks spectacular when in full leaf.

The Meikelour Arms typifies the Scottish experience.
The Meikelour Arms typifies the Scottish experience. From check in to departure the process was faultless. Our evening meal was superb; an extensive menu with a good wine list. Our room was very comfortable with impressive Arran toiletries.

We had a lovely weekend at the Meiklour.
We had a lovely weekend at the Meiklour. The staff were very friendly and able to recommend nice walks for us to take the two dogs on. They were very accommodating if our two Spaniels and the dog friendly room was great.
The food was excellent especially the breakfast :)
One of the best places to stay in Perthshire in our opinion.
