Great Location in a Beautiful village, a bit short of choices for quality food in the area. The White Swann pub was not the best by far, closed Monday and Tuesday, no food served Wednesday, we were looking forward to eating there in the evenings, we went once and that was enough, the food itself was a good treat, very nicely cooked and beautifully presented, we even got to speak to the cook who is a really lovely person and she made up in some way for the fact that it was a bit sad that the owners of the pub could not be bothered to either have the log fire on, there was no music, or even candles lit. This made for quite a cold feel in terms of ambience and actual heat of the building
