A beautiful traditional hotel recently taken over by St Austell Brewery so they also serve great ale. Breakfast was served in a really beautiful dining room rather than the bar as is often the case for these sort of places. Only 2 mins walk from the centre of boscastle. Parking is very limited but the main boscastle car park is only 6 or 7 mins walk.
The Widemouth Manor is a warm friendly pub/ hotel and looks out over the sandy bay which is famous for its surfing. Just off the A39, access to Devon and Cornwall could not be better.

This was a beautiful location, in the heart of the countryside in an idyllic location, but close enough to drive to the beach in 5 mins. It has an open field in front down to the stream and ideal for dogs. Lovely cottage style cabin tucked into plants and trees giving you a feeling of privacy. Great Wifi and very clean and good communication from host. WAZE the map app took us directly to the property and a five minute drive later we were at a lovely bar / restaurant on a stunning Cornish beach. Lovely and clean too and well equipped with the basics.

The accommodation was absolutely fantastic for our family of 4 (+dog) and located in a stunning and private setting close to Bude centre for main shops, Boscastle and Tintagel. It includes a lovely private field where the kids and dogs can play, directly in front of the cottage and surrounded by beautiful woodland and stream, with table&chairs and BBQ provided. Access to the beach takes around 20mins on foot from the field. Secure parking is also provided. The cottages are to a new standard and spotlessly clean, beds are very comfortable with good facilities including kitchen with microwave, oven, coffee machine, fridge and toaster. TVs in main living room and bedrooms inc. Netflix and Prime. The owners are great to deal with and even posted my little boys favourite blanket back to us after he left it behind when we checked out. We would definitely highly recommend and will hopefully be back again in the future.
