Rooms very similar to Premier inn or Travelodge, all the usual facilities, very clean. Staff very friendly and efficient. Check in/check out was smooth, excellent value for money if you're looking for a bed for the night. We didn't use the pub at all so can't comment on the food etc

The Elephant & Peacock previously The Strutt Arms was an amazing stay. The food was delicious, best Indian food I've ever eaten ! Ruben and Lillie were great, they accommodated us during the meal and my son arrived slightly after 9pm when they stopped serving but were happy to organise a meal for him. Fabulous, friendly staff including the owner who was serving at breakfast.
