Kissamos is an excellent home base for trips to Balos and also for Elafonisi, much closer than Chania. There are also many restaurants along the beach in walking distance. We didn't swim there but it is possible. You might consider Falasarno for a few days for a beautiful beach with surf!

The place is very quiet and relaxing, especially during the dusk & the night where you can have your dinner in the big balcony & view all the stars in the sky, after a full day at the nearby beaches. Is a perfect location to visit west Crete, 15-20 min from the amazing Falassarna beach and 20 min from the parking place of the famous Balos beach. Also, it is less than 60 min to visit the unique Elafonisi beach. I would definitely choose this villa again in my next visit to west Crete!

Quiet place, nice view, very comfortable territory which includes pool and perfect barbecue zone, where we were spending all family evenings. Separately I want to say about the owner. He is an extremely good person. He made a lot of presents, filled the fridge with food, worried we to feel comfortable. We are very grateful to him for the warm welcome. It was easy to get to the best beaches on Crete - Falasarna and Balos on rental car. Once we will back!

Supermarket,.bakery, cafe, good restaurants - only 2 min drive,.or 10-15 min walk if you like. We stayed in May and it was very quiet even though an apartment is located close to the road. Good place.for a family with small children - closed area, no stairs, no swimming pool, no problem :-)

Right across the road from the beachfront, lovely beach with some sand, some pebbles although to get to the really beautiful beaches in Crete you need to drive. A nice, quiet part of Crete which is what we were looking for. Stella was absolutely amazing - warm, friendly and really goes the extra mile to make everything as good as possible. She really made a difference to our experience from being average to wonderful. Thank you Stella - you're the best!

It's near Kissamos, but in the country, near two very good local restaurants for typical food. We ended up in a greek baptism party. Very nice! Very quiet during the night. It's ideal to visit all the western part of Crete and near the besutiful Falasarna beach. Also, air conditioning and laundry.
