Everyone at To Exari was very friendly and helpful, the food delicious and the cheese and eggs all from the site itself.it was a great atmosphere to unwind in after a challenging hike up Gigilos and before walking the Samaria Gorge the next day.

The owner is very friendly which makes a huge difference when travelling alone! She was happy to keep my bag for a day while I did a round walk as well which my knees are grateful for. Room was spacious and comfortable and air conditioning easy to use. It's looking out to sea and close to everything in Sougia.

The location was lovely, out of the most touristy part of Sougia but close enough to quickly drive down for a meal or to buy supplies. We were hiking the Agia Irini Gorge and it was very conventient for that.
