We stayed just one night here and felt like we had a chance in the afternoon of arrival and then a few hours in the morning to see everything major in town. We arrived on a Sunday night and it was SWARMING - my son actually said it reminded him of Disneyland with vendors selling all the same things like light up toys, etc. Monday morning was much more calm and enjoyable. Was able to see the beautiful sites and enjoy the town much more. The volcano was barely coming out as we were leaving so wish we had a better view of that.

pay in Q and not dollars or use your credit card which is not a guarantee. They were canceling my guest reservations and my VISA/MC or DISCOVER was not working except my DEBIT card which was odd but was later explained that they have to wait 8 days to get the money from the credit card and DEBIT card was immediate money. That was not nice.

Lovely historical town that captures the culture, cuisine and spirit of the country. Walkable, or by Uber or tuk tuk. Most streets are bumpy cobblestone, so don’t recommend bikes, although there are bike tours provided in the area. Lots of hotels, B&Bs, and restaurants, museums, historical sites and shops for tourists.

It's a UNESCO site, so you know with certainty it's very special. I found it spellbinding; it's a place that "has it all!" Never once felt unsafe, even walking through town alone in the wee hours of the morning. Easily and enjoyably very walkable, even from one side of the city to the other (but you need comfortable walking shoes given the cobblestone streets laid in the 1850s). Great restaurants and pubs on every block, too numerous to mention except, perhaps, for the Irish pub called "Snug."

Antigua is a beautiful city with so much to do and so much to see! I walked all over the city at all times of the day and night! I never saw any danger or felt any danger! Antigua is very safe, different than Guatemala city! I did not go and I had no interest in going to Guatemala City. Antigua has everything!

There is no other hotel like this one, built on the mediaeval ruins. The atmosphere and and scenery of the hotel is out of this world. The spa is great with two heating pools and a big swimming pool, plus dry and steam sauna. There are even heater on the roof of the sap so you can be really comfortable even at night. I tried the jade massage and it was really good. The meals at the restaurants are great too. The king bed with spa access is much more confrontable than the standard two queen beds.
Not the place if you're looking for a 'boutique hotel' vibe (you'll find plenty in the rest of Antigua) but perfect if you're looking for a no-nonsense place close to the city center with a very homey feeling. Alvaro and his wife were so helpful and friendly troughout our stay (general info, transportation,...). Room and breakfast were basic but decent, bathroom's a bit run down but overall great value for money. Views of erupting Fuego volcano from the roof terrace!
The beds are extremely comfortable and very private even though I was in a dorm of 12. The patio area was social particularly in the mornings and evenings. The terrace was a great place to relax and the toilets are cleaned regularly. Because I work when I travel these things are very important to me. Also, because im a coffee fanatic, its great that there is a coffee shop here that serves good quality coffee and delicious pastries.
Very well appointed rustic hotel, about a 15 minute walk from the center of the town. The rooms were in front, then there was a nice garden, then there was the section with the restaurant and pool. Hector in the restaurant was awesome and very accommodating. Overall the staff were all very friendly and even though most didn't speak much English and we did not speak much Spanish, we found means of communicating.
Quiet location at the end of a street but an easy walk to the main plaza. Clean, comfortable, secure rooms. Nice breakfast. Excellent value for money. Exceptional hospitality. Everyone working there, especially Xiomara who runs the hotel, is helpful, kind, friendly, and clearly want you to enjoy your stay at the hotel and in Antigua. They can arrange transportation and tours at reasonable prices, too.
Such a beautiful peaceful boutique hotel! Captured the Vibe of Antigua. Very secure perfect location steps away from EL Parque Central surrounded by many restaurants and shop. Breakfast was included and it was very good. Very clean, accommodating and very friendly. I appreciate their help in finding transportation. Highly recommend for a stay in Antigua. Will be back !
We loved everything. Great location, staff and decor. Most importantly however is knowing that all money goes to their NGO supporting local kids to get an education. A one night stay supports a child's education for one week. The story behind this hotel is admirable and I hope they can expand beyond the current three hotels, 2 in Guatemala and 1 in London
Everything was great, the staff was very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. The breakfast was included in our stay and it was great local food with multiple options. The room was very spacious and had shampoo/body wash. The staff set up transportation for us from airport; to atitlan and back to Antigua at a very reasonable price.
This place is so great. everything was just perfect. Gustavo the owner is so nice and helpful, the rooms are clean , bed is comfortable, hot water in the shower. The rooms and the hotel itself are pretty with all the special paintings. compared to Antigua it’s definitely a cheap and fair stay, would definitely recommend staying here!
This is an amazingly unique property and the hotel fee includes admission to unique on-site museums. The pool is great for families. The coffee is very good and strong. The on-site restaurant, while expensive, was very convenient for a rainy evening as a person traveling alone. I did not have to go out which was very relaxing.
An excellent hostel for me, very quiet, as the name means, a lot of peace and quiet with good areas to work or relax, wonderful view from the terrace, the receptionist is very helpful, they are very professional with tours and transportation, good value for money and very clean, very good option in Antigua
From the moment we arrived until departure, the staff exceeded expectations. They went above and beyond to help us find transportation when we needed it. The breakfast was delicious, and the views were breathtaking. The hotel itself felt like you were in your own little world.
Great stay in a small charming boutique hotel. Very pretty room, nice breakfast. Architectural pool that was not really usable and somewhat isolated location in a gated complex was not ideal but everything else was lovely
Located very close to our vulcanotrip touroperator. Room was ready early and we could wash up after our vulcano trip. Good and friendly staff, also with booking for further transportation needs.
we really loved all! The only thin is the location that is unclear to get to the place. This is the real address:
