The hostel has a lot of potential, as both the building and the location are very appealing. The owner as well as the girl working the reception are very friendly, which is also a bonus. The shower is OK, with running hot water which is great after a long hike. The common sitting area is comfortable and has a great view over the beach. The room (standard double) has enough space, especially considering this is a hostel. The breakfast is basic continental but has everything you need to start the day (cornflakes, muesli, juice, milk, toast, butter, marmalade).

A beautiful village with a local shop for all your self catering needs.
We walked the "Fairy Trail" but I wouldn't recommend it for younger children. I didn't see any fairy doors or anything fairy related.....there were a few painted rocks. The trail is fairly difficult to walk and is a 5km loop going through sheep farmland....the sheep seemed friendly enough. Difficult under foot and hard work to stay upright in parts
