Beautiful building, gorgeous property, large room that was very comfortable. I was extremely pleased with my decision to stay at Aran View Country House, and was especially pleased considering that I booked the room just the night before.

A very charming village. The people were very friendly.
A very charming village. The people were very friendly. Great pubs and live music (McGann's & McDermott's were the ones we visited). There is a spectacular view of the Cliffs of Moher from the parking lot of the ferry dock; our landlord recommended we go at sunset, and it was amazing! It happened to be high tide and the roaring waves made the scene even more astounding. Of course, the Cliffs are just down the road, and they are one of the best sights in Ireland.

Great music, fun and food.
Great music, fun and food. Excellent quality food in all pubs and hotels. You can walk between pubs but lack of street lights can make this dangerous at night...maybe there could be a store of hivis vests that could be swapped between pubs for those walking.

Got a true feel for this countryside / seaside community.
Got a true feel for this countryside / seaside community. Loved the pubs. Took the scenic cliff side walk to Cliffs of Moher which was spectacular but super muddy. Amazing and majestic. Bus back to town could have been more on time and available.

Doolin is a cute little town and is a great place to stay for close proximity to the Cliffs of Moher. There isn't much to do in Doolin, so I recommend staying there only to spend the night after visiting the Cliffs that afternoon or before visiting the Cliffs the next morning.

Plenty of restaurants and lovely craft shops.
Plenty of restaurants and lovely craft shops. Good atmosphere and traditional Irish music available in the evenings.
Beside the sea and a ferry can take you to see the Aran Islands and the cliffs of Moher.
Great B&B. Maria is a delightful host. Our room and bathroom were spotless and a good size. Breakfast was delicious and HOT!! Dubhlinn House is centrally located in Doolin. You can walk to McGann's pub on one end, the Doolin Ferry on the other. O'Connor's pub and the Cliffs of Moher are right down the street. Fitzpatrick's pub is across the bridge. We loved the ability to visit all of these places and catch some incredible music sessions. The Galway bus is right across the bridge as well.
I had a tremendous time both staying and eating at Oar. The rooms were quaint and comfortable, and were the perfect starting point to walk to the Cliffs of Moher from. The dinner at the restaurant was top notch, and the host was friendly and I enjoyed my conversation with him. Overall I am very pleased with my stay, and I am so happy I took a trip over to Doolin. Of all the great places I visited in Ireland, Doolin truly was the gem of the islands crown.
Warm cosy friendly beautiful decor ,restful , breakfast was gorgeous, huge and freshly cooked the smoothie was yummy and the brown bread was so nice I brought home a loaf .be sure to eat in the restaurant also the monkfish with samphire was delicious, this small but perfect hotel is in the best location just up from Doolin village and the Burren/ Moher walk is on its doorstep , definitely my choice when I come back
The property is very well situated in Doolin almost right across the street from the bus stop (helpful if you are hiking Cliffs of Moher). The rooms are nice sized with a bathtub, air conditioning and various bed sizes. Another staple is their onsite restaurants, of which we only ate at Russell’s Seafood Bar (sensational food!) and their breakfast that’s in the room rate (also brilliant!).
The hotel was beautiful, well decorated with lots of amenities on site. Great atmosphere in the bar with live trad music and good Guinness. Staff were amazing, so friendly and willing to help with anything. A flying visit but one I will definitely repeat as soon as I get the chance! Had the best sleep of my entire trip and possibly for years!
The rooms were lovely, very clean, airy, bright and modern. The facilities in the BnB are top-class. The location is ideal being in the centre of the village of Doolin. Both our hosts were most welcoming, friendly and informative as regards things to do and places to eat. The breakfast was outstanding - high quality, innovative and tasty.
West haven house definitely had the little touches that I would notice and enjoy . The crockery , bathroom mirror light and amazing art work throughout . We pinned on the world map that I am from Cape Town and Kilkenny and it was a lovely thing to do . Aswell as to see where people has travelled from to enjoy the beauty in Doolin .
Beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Aran Islands from the B&B accomodation
Great starting point for a hike to the Cliffs of Moher and a drive to the amazing sights in the Burren
Very informative talks with the hosts
Very good restaurants in Doolin
Lovely family run hotel. Castle tour was only for the guests and our family of 5 loved hearing the stories and exploring. Every room in the hotel is named after previous guests or owners and has a story attached. So charming!!
very friendly and inviting hosts.
lovely artwork and well designed rooms and use of space.
breakfast was outstanding and the most unique menu options we have ever seen at a b&b.
helped recommend a wonderful restaurant for dinner.
The room is very well equipped and clean. The beds are super comfy. The b&b is perfectly located in doolin, very close to two pubs for dinner / drinks. The host Maeve was super lovely and gave us a lot of recommandations :)
The accommodation was nice and close to all Doolin has to offer. The directions were easy to follow and check-in was straightforward. Our host was able to offer suggestions on places to eat dinner and breakfast.
The location is a good bit further from Doolin than we had expected but the hotel is in a beautiful location and the view from our room was exceptional. The restaurant is superb, worth a visit on it's own.
Had everything you needed. breakfast was included. Had a couple different restaurants to chose from for other meals. Very charming place to stay. Loved the hotel and Doolin. Very happy we stayed 2 nights.
Location: This B&B is on the edge of Doolin, a very small Irish town. A couple of restaurants are nearby that serve dinner until late.
The Room: It was spacious, and clean with modern bathroom.
Dubhlinn House was a great spot to stay for our one night in Doolin. The B&B was easy to find, it was a short walk to some great pubs, and the homecooked breakfast was really nice.
Beautiful, high end home in the country side. Immaculate with very comfortable beds.
Excellent, very helpful host.
A short drive in to Doolin for Restaurants and sightseeing.
