It is quiet. We stayed in the village of Bohola.

It is quiet. We stayed in the village of Bohola. There is not much. Two bars, a convenience store, a church, a community center, homes and a cemetery. That's it. The Inn has a great bar. No food short of bar snacks available. Things are cheap in Bohola. It is more locals than tourists, so the experience is truly authentic Irish. The bartender is great, and the crowd is fun.

Mayo is a beautiful county with plenty to do I would highly recommend the walk up Croagh Patrick it’s tough but the view is worth it, there’s a lot of nice pubs to eat in serving locally sourced ingredients
