Breakfast buffet was good. Plenty of food to fuel our walk for the day. The location was also excellent with bakery, restaurants, grocery store, and bars within 5 minute walk. I would describe the hotel as 3.5 stars--nothing fancy but adequate. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Recommend.

Francesco and his family are very friendly and forthcoming and he is always ready to help out if there are any questions. Highly recommended also due to the absolutely quiet area. Do not be irritated by the commercial area nearby, it is not noticable! Also very good restaurants (local specialities) nearby. My wife and I would come again.andreasAustria

Nevertheless, we were delighted with the attitude of the staff - they were very helpful in solving our difficult situation. At the same time, the hotel has great charm, architectural detail and is in a city that is only a short distance from beautiful cities such as Pisa or Lucca. Thank you very much for a lovely stay.

It's up to you if that's an advantage or not. 45min by car to Viareggio, 25min to Lucca, 35 to Pisa. Giovanni is very nice, he surprised us with some things to eat at the breakfast and with 2 Bottles from his owh wine that is really good. Very nice gesture. Air conditioning works really well, and the terrace is really nice if you come with kids.Andrei-ToaderGermany

They staff is very friendly and helpfull +++++! The room was big, perfect and clean! It is also near the autoroute so can’t be better! The pool has also a small jacuzzi seat side ! There are also trees if you dont want the sun that much. The breakfast was good!

It is do-able for an evening if you are on a budget, and is right on the path of the Via Francigena. The staff were helpful and allowed me to use their fridge to store some food.
