Small, quiet, calm town.
Small, quiet, calm town. There are no huge crowds of tourists, what makes it different from the crowded Riva del Garda or Limone sul Garda. Here you don't have to wait for free seats in a restaurant. Here you don't have to waste your vacation time standing in queues.
At the same time, there is no problem getting to the lake. It's just 10 minutes by car through scenic landscape.

The last 60 years have practically ruined what was probably a fantastic landscape. Segantini used to live in these places and he used to write about the beauty of them - I don't think he would be proud of what befell his mountains.

Arco is like the Mekka for outdoor enthousiasts.
Arco is like the Mekka for outdoor enthousiasts. On top of that, Arco kept its medieval cultural center and made use of that to attract families and culture sniffers to have a very nice stay. Arco truly has a complete package for a short or long stay for everyone.

We picked Arco because we wanted to see some of its climbing...
We picked Arco because we wanted to see some of its climbing crags. Crags were very nice and not that crowded. Food is good and prices are more than fair. We dined at the Restaurant La Lega (recommended) and visit the castle. The city center is full of shops (lots of climbing shops) and places where to buy food.
The apartment is really good. Located on the ground floor. It consists of two large bedrooms, a living room, a separate kitchen, and a bathroom. The windows are looking on all sides of the building and are equipped with window shades. Also, the air conditioning was very good. Everything was in place, even a washing machine, and a toaster/grill. The location is very nice. It's close to Arco town center and also it is easy to reach the Garda lake beatches even by foot walking along the river.
Perfect place for the bikers, but not only. The apartament was very clean, fully equipped, we had everything we needded. The owner was very nice and helpful. Localization was good, also very good restaurant was so close. Near to the center of Arco on foot and Riva del Garda on bike. There is a cellar for the bikes. We can recommend this place for everyone and hope to visit again!
We spent 10 days in Arco at the villa Romantika and can say that we have loved the place. Everything was perfect, starting from location (5mins from city center) to the amenities of the apartment. Our wonderful host Mario was extremely attentive, provided our kids with toys that kept them very busy, children’s tableware. Mario is a very very detail oriented host.
Modern, bright, clean hotel in a renovated Arco property right inside the main city gate. Friendly helpful managment, great breakfast (including freshly squeezed orange juice). Free parking just round the corner on the main parking lot, or if you dare through the gate in the courtyard. Highly recommended.
We had a great time at O_live Agriresort. The hotel is beautiful and the facilities are perfect for a stay close to lake Garda. The breakfast with home grown and home made food is exceptional. There are good restaurants within walking distance (make sure to reserve a table in advance).
This was one of our favourite place we stayed on our 3 week holiday. Incredible value and true hospitality from the generous hosts. A real highlight was the morning breakfast, with different cakes made each day. If we ever make it back to Arco we will search out this place again!
Nice and comfy apartment in a great location very close to beautiful Arco old town. Great advantage is private parking at the property. Apartment is well equipped even with efficient air conditioning and a portable fan.
Small hotel, excellent helpful & friendly staff, free bikes available & good cycle paths locally, good location to visit Lake Garda. Arco town was pleasant in the evening . spent 3 nights as part of a 3 week tour.
The location is perfect at the entrance to the main street of Arco. Free parking was easy to find. Breakfast is excellent and has abundant choice. We loved the little extras on Sunday
