Good value, given the location - 5 mins or so walk to/train station 15-20 mins or so walk to the centre. Nice views from balcony taking in part of the lake & mountains. Very pleasant hotel in a quiet street. Views of the lake and hills behind from our balcony and from the balcony area with seating outside our room. Comfortable beds and an excellent shower. Everything at hand - just a few minutes walk down to Lake Maggiore, nice restaurants and the ferry port for crossing the lake and visiting the islands. An added bonus was the location of the very friendly and helpful little museum and tourist office only a few paces away! And finally, a special thank you to Laura on reception, who always greeted us with smiles and kindly helped us when we were struggling with an online booking!
