Everything was perfect. From the rooms, to breakfast, and staff. The location of the hotel was also very good, a small and pleasant walk to see Saint Margaret in the Church of Saint Domenic.

Everything was excellent. Spoke with the owners and gave me tips to walk San Francis Way to Assisi.
Il Vingone is set in a restored 10th century Benedictine Abbey, 9 km from Città di Castello in northern Umbria. The estate offers a peaceful rural location, restaurant and outdoor pool.

It's a lovely place. It's up a pretty rough dirt road, and if you are on a motorbike it might be difficult, but it's beautiful, quiet and clean, and the restaurant is very, very good. In the middle of the week, out of season, we were the only guests and they opened the restaurant and gave us a fantastic meal, completely catering for one of us who is gluten intolerant.
I would recommend Badia il Vingone, and I'd like to go back again.
Boasting mountain views, Agriturismo la Tana provides accommodation with free bikes and a terrace, around 49 km from Piazza Grande. With garden views, this accommodation offers a balcony.

My original review was cut-off it was saying … 3 of their 4 chikren whom I had the privilege to meet and are all as hospitable as their parents; when they’re 2 dogs!!😂 They went over and above in every category to welcome me and make sure I had anything I might need and was comfortable. They are all hardworking and it shows through the beauty of the entire homestead that Johnny built himself and Tiziana runs beautifully! I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone and would not hesitate to return. 👍👍

The streets of the city center are completely pedestrian, the buildings well kept and very old. The squares are spacious and full of people. The bars and restaurants offer kindness and excellent food at affordable prices. The most prestigious buildings such as the art gallery are tidy and in perfect condition. A dream!

The town name and architecture might be OK, but the amenities for getting a drink, something to eat or relax was none existent , apart from the less then inviting cafe's in the main square. A real disappointment compared to the other villages we visited in the region.

Great town, Lots of interest off the beaten track.
Great town, Lots of interest off the beaten track. Worth going to tourist information place. Great variety of wine bars and restaurants, not all expensive. Lovely welcoming people. Visit the markets, especially on Thursday.

Quiet friendly hotel.
Quiet friendly hotel. Room opening onto wall on second floor. Lovely view of trees across the valley from balcony. Good food in restaurant. Continental breakfast no British style cooked food for breakfast. We enjoyed this. Had evening meals at hotel. Delicious Umbrian food plus carafe of their local wine, reasonably priced. Would definitely choose this hotel if came again. No hot drink facility in bedroom but this was not a problem to us. Loved this city, full of history and places to visit. Hope to visit again. Thanks to all the wonderful staff for making our stay such a pleasure

We had a lovely stay here with large rooms and bathroom (the photos really didn't give it justice), breakfast was amazing - personally waited on with tea/coffee/crossaints/cakes etc, and the pool was large and warm. There was also a great walk(bike trail) close by, along the river into Citta de Castilla where there are many restaurants and services. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
An amazing apartment in the historic center. This home is the definition of quaint, old Umbrian/Italian charm and a five minute walk to the historic center of Città di Castello. Luciana was absolutely delightful and brought us a home - prepared breakfast that was bounteous and delicious. When we return to this lovely city, we will absolutely stay again at Palazzo San Florido.
I think staying at Agriturismo Le Burgne was one of my favorite parts of my journey on the camino. The food I enjoyed while there for two days was just about the best I had in my entire month in Italy. The house and gardens are beautiful, my room was large and comfortable, and I felt totally welcomed and taken care of as a guest.
Great location, lovely property with well-kept and beautiful gardens. The property was charming and the room very clean with sanitary seals in the bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic, and the front desk agents couldn't have been more polite and friendly. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.
The structure of the hotel is beautiful. There are different rooms opening onto the same common area. like parts of a house. I think this was actually an old house before. It has an authentic structure. It was written 1847 on the fireplace, but I didn't know if it meant that date. There are 2 separate bathrooms.
The unique location in this well restored medieval hamlet with its views overlooking Città di Castello, the absolute quiet, the lovely landscaped gardens, the fine food offered at breakfast and available at the in-house restaurant, the friendly competent helpful staff were a real plus
Love this hotel. Perfect location and room was comfortable. But Mateo was extraordinary!!! We travel a lot and he was by far the best front desk manager we've ever encountered. They're very lucky to have him. He made our stay memorable.
This little apartment had everything we needed, and was very comfortable. The apartment is very well positioned to explore Citta di Castello. The host was very responsive and helpful. We would stay here again, if we are ever back in town.
Federico was the perfect host - he was very friendly and welcoming and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and places to see in citta di castello. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. A lovely place to stay!
I have been several times before. The hotel sits high on the hill with reathtaking views. It oozes charm. The staff are so accommodating and friendly. The food is second to none, with a great wine list. A ery special place.
I loved my stay ❤️. Monia and Fabio made me feel so at home in this beautiful country property. It has everything I needed and more. Beautiful umbrian villa, gorgeous views and friendly generous hosts. xx
Nice breakfast, took individual coffee orders. Got to park my motorcycle in a locked room across the street which felt safe. Nice bar right next to the hotel on small square.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and pleasant. The breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel was right in the centre of Citta Di Castello.
Everything was clean, well stocked kitchen and everything new. A great place to stay in Città di Castello... 5 mins from main piazza, free, secure parking, great terrace!
