One exceptional feature is the terrace, with a view of the nearby hills. In a crowded tourist area, it was great to be able to get away from the throngs and noise yet still be outdoors. The host and her family were very welcoming and helpful.

Obviously it’s a great location. The cleaning staff do a good job and only paying 1 euro for a towel is a nice change. It was good to have access to microwave and fridge. The unserved baskets are a good idea but I’d rather sit on a chair to access my gear than sit in the floor. If the table and chairs were normal height this problem would be solved.

What a wonderful town for wandering and seeing incredible views! Great food, beautiful views, great hiking -- and so easy to get to the other Cinqueterre towns from here. More people should stay here. Really gives you an authentic experience of the local culture. Less touristy than the other Cinqueterre towns-- which you can get plenty of if you hop on a 3-6 minute train ride to any of the other towns. Loved the views and gelato.

The small village is wonderful.
The small village is wonderful. You can get to know the people that live and work there very easily.
I DEFINITELY would NOT use Corniglia as a home base to see other Cinque Terre villages unless you love to walk up and down a very big hill or 375 steps.

This is a lovely little town.
This is a lovely little town. Be prepared if you plan to hike between towns. It's a challenge but worth it. The views are spectacular. If you're into walking some more steps down to the water in Corniglia, you will see a cute little restaurant on your left. Plan to have dinner there. It's peaceful and the atmosphere is gorgeous.

As the village is on the top of the cliffs it helps to have done some preparatory work to have stronger leg muscles and to have done some hills as the bus gets very crowded- no etiquette.
All the cafes and bars do good food Pan e vin did a fair priced Italian breakfast. The Bar below the Church had large Lattes if you need them and good choice of sharing boards.
Caffe Matteo looked after our group of 8 in the evening very well. Staff were great.
Once in the village you can navigate the narrow streets quite easily but they get very busy with day trippers. We enjoyed our trek to Manarola

While a little harder to access (steep stair climb or shuttle bus) than the other villages, the "isolation" means a little less mobbed by tourists - although still jam packed during the day. The central location means hiking the main trail can be done easily in either direction. Superb restaurants (and gelato...) on hand. Reserve and make the hike for lunch to Ittiturismo Corniglia Sp 4488 for a really special experience. And don't miss the two churches...

Smallest and quietest of the five villages.
Smallest and quietest of the five villages. But that makes it even better right? Good restaurants and places for snacks, good value accommodation, a little marina that is great for a swim and hiking options to Vernazza and Manorola.
This place was incredible! Right in the middle of Corniglia, the host went above and beyond to help us have a great stay! First, she carried our bags up multiple flights of stairs for us. Second, we stayed in the wine room and were gifted a great bottle of wine. Finally, the bed was great, the wifi super strong, and a tv that came with netflix/youtube. Truly an exceptional place that is right in the heart of Cinque Terre. We were able to easily do hikes out of here, get to the train station or it was a 1 min walk to solid restaurants.
The staff at il Magan were absolutely fantastic and made this magical place feel even more special. Between the amazing location, an amazing view from the terrace (which was unfortunately being renovated during my stay), delicious breakfast and an incredibly helpful set of staff, my stay couldn’t have gone any better. The beds were incredibly comfortable which made for a great night’s sleep, and made it tempting to lay there instead of going out exploring! When I come back to Corniglia, I’ll have to stay with this hotel again.
The room was in a great location in town with an incredible view of the mountains and the sea. The room itself was simple, with closets to store our clothes and plenty of space to get ready each day. It was definitely a no-frills place, but as 2 friends traveling and hoping to see some beautiful places in Italy, it was just what we needed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and they served us a free breakfast each morning. I would recommend for a simple place to stay in one of the most beautiful places in Italy.
Such an amazing place to explore the cinque Terra. The apartment is really easy to reach by bus from the train station. There is everything directly in front of the house as supermarkets, bus station and 3(!!!) Ice cream places and a sunny terrace to enjoy it as well. Nadia was super friendly, she picked us up from the bus station, got in contact with us about all our questions and was always super involved in a really nice way! That was one of our best stops around our Italy tour.
Host was wonderful & helpful and hotel was very nicely decorated and comfortable with a beautiful view! Definitely need to take the bus, do not walk up the steps with luggage like we did. VERY hard to do. No conditioner in bathroom for showering. That was the case everywhere in Italy however. Great place to stay in Corniglia with a relaxing garden to enjoy.
Very nicely renovated old stone house high above Corniglia in the center of Cinque Terre. Directly next to the hiking trails which are connecting this area with Manarola and Vernazza. Great and peaceful view from the balcony and the outside terrazza. Very friendly hosts which provided great breakfast.
I stayed for just one night in Corniglia. The Corte del Gallo offers a handy location close to Corniglia railway station, avoiding climbing the stairs with baggage or walking into Corniglia by the road.
It has a nice terraced garden and a pleasant shaded outside breakfast area.
My experience right from the booking to check-in and checkout was splendid - thanks to Massimilano.
He is extremely hospitable, the hotel, rooms, washroom, service and ambiance was best ever in my travel to europe. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the rooms were so cozy.
Fantastic 2-night stay in Corniglia! Gorgeous views, very comfortable and clean! The terrace is unreal! Management was helpful and communication was easy. Close to cafes and restaurants. Would highly recommend for a Cinque Terre visit, great value for the price.
I’m convinced that cecio 5 terre rooms has the best view in all of cinque terre! it’s so close to the main part of town, but in the evenings has the most magical view. we loved our time here so much and would absolutely stay here again if we were to come back!
This is a lovely apartment in the middle of Corniglia with an amazing view of the sea. It had a well-equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom in addition to a spacious bedroom and even a balcony. There is also a common terrace to sit on if desired.
Villa Lardarina was wonderful and very relaxing. Spectacular views, and the wine left by the host was one of our favorites of the entire trip. Relaxing on the patio was a perfect way to spend our first day in Cinque Terre after a long hike!
The location is perfect: not far from the center of Corniglia (five minutes walking), but very quit.
The breakfast on the terrasse is just marvelous!
Giulia and Gianpaolo are very kind !
We absolutely loved staying here and view from our room was stunning. Corniglia is perfect for start exploring a Cinque Terre-we definitely recommend hike from Corniglia to Vernazza.
Room with sea view was lovely. The private patio with lounge chairs was a bonus! Comfortable bed and clean spaces. Highly enjoyed our stay here and in Corniglia. Host was very nice.
The staff is very nice! You can let your luggages all day for free in lockers. The location in Corniglia is amazing to visit all villages in Cinque Terre
