The staff was very friendly and super helpful with easy check out/in. The breakfast was also very charming and varied. We had a nice time exploring the nearby towns because of its location. The hotel also welcomed and accommodated my dog - always very appreciated.

My husband and I stayed in Locanda dello Spuntino for 3 nights while traveling around Castelli Romani . It is very nice, family run , authentic hotel located in the residential area of Grottaferrata. We had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the park. Even though the room was facing the street, the shutters provided good isolation and it was very quiet.
The room is a good size for Italy with wooden beams and hardwood floors. Large bathroom with beautiful mosaic shower. I have to mention the bedding which is luxurious. Crisp linen sheets, fluffy pillows, truly wonderful. It was a great place to relax after wandering around the area. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Cappuccino, fresh orange juice , pastries , local ham and cheeses, eggs prepared to order in a hotel restaurant that serves great pastas and other authentic Roman specialities in the evening. We would love to stay in this hotel again.
Park Hotel Villa Grazioli is a beautiful 16th-century building set in a panoramic location in the hills above Rome. You will have amazing views, a pool, and truly historic accommodation.

We had a wonderful stay, it was near a lovely village called Frascati and we need to come and stay again so we can visit there. The room was lovely and we were given an upgrade. Breakfast was perfect and the restaurant was beautiful as was the building. The staff at the hotel could not do enough for you and the handy shuttle bus from the train station was welcomed.

We need a car.
We need a car. The towns, sites and restaurants were excellent. We loved staying at the Tenuta Cusamano. We enjoyed touring the nature/archaelogical site of Tuscolum over the weekend when the ruins are open to the public. we did not see another American in 5 days.

Grottaferrata is a very small town.
Grottaferrata is a very small town. I was there for work but I had time to walk around and see a bit. There is the Monastery of Santa Maria that dates back to 1024 with a beautiful church inside that is worth a visit. There is a museum but it was closed when I visited. I thought I would have a harder time finding parking but it wasn't too bad.
For a great meal try La Casina del Buon Gusto. The chef's specialty was buonissimo and the prices are excellent. Avoid the Ristorante da Leo. Overpriced and not very good.
There is a Fresco Market grocery store within walking distance of the downtown area which has just about everything, including American Hershey's for some reason!

The hotel Graziola is old and beautiful both inside and out, the ceiling frescos are amazing. Very relaxing stay here in the apartments not the hotel itself. Staff are very helpful and breakfast is extensive and good quality.

The proximity to Frascati and it's train station made our visits to Frascati and to Rome very simple. A casual drive around the vicinity of Grottaferrata can include the many towns of Castelli Romani with all their diversity and drama.

We have been coming to Frascati for the last 11 years and always stay at Park Grazioli in Grottaferrata. This year we booked the private apartments which are opposite the hotel. We had the use of the hotel shuttle bus which gets you up and down from Frascati town centre is only 1 kilometre away but is quite a steep walk back up. It is the ideal base to stay in Frascati. There are loads of restaurants and places to eat to suit all ages. Frascati town is buzzing at night with the locals and their families. The train station is in the town and it is only a 30 minute journey into Rome Termini.
Make sure you eat in Il Tettuccio. Great food and very reasonable. Also Pinnochio's in the square is very good but you may need to book as it gets very busy after 8pm

Although not being very well known Grottaferrata is truly a hidden gem. Located within the Roman Castle Hills, it’s like being a in the countryside just meters away from Rome, where you can go and spend the day. Very recommended for families and groups of friends.
OMG...OMG...OMG...WOW, WOW. WOW.....This is an amazing find!!!! About 30 to 40 minutes from Rome and the airport but sooooo worth it. This weekend my wife and I celebrate her biirthday and our 30th wedding anniversary. The hotel made it very special. Our only regret was that we werent there longer. This will be saved as one of my top go to romantic getaways. The rooms GORGEOUS!!!! The restaurant served the best meal Ive had during my week stay in Italy!!! Locanda della Spuntino, I cant wait to come back!!!!!
This hotel stood out as the jewel in the crown of our 18 hotel Europe tour. Maurizio is a perfect host and gave us great tips and advice for our onward journey.
The bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable and we had a terrific balcony overlooking the gorgeous countryside. The swimming pool area was lovely too. We especially enjoyed the restaurant recommended by Maurizio in the town. Breakfast was delicious sat outside in the sunshine.
My motorcycle was parked safely in the hotel grounds overnight.
I was fascinated by everything related with my stay in the residence! This place joins the best thing that can proposed an apartment and a hotel: everyday cleaning and everyday change of towels, a well-equipped kitchen, a free parking, fast Wi-Fi.
As well, a bus stop is about 5 minutes by foot so 20 minutes and one gets to the metro station Anagnina.
So, for any next trip to this area I will, certainly, book this Residence again
The best Boutique Hotel i have ever stayed
Everything was just perfect !!
You can't ask for better service and excellent hospitality by the owner himself or the entire staff or the amazing food in their restaurant.. exceptional !!

Very nice hotel, in an old building, but completely renewed. Large room and large bathroom. The restaurant close to the hotel proposes a very good italian food (with many roman specialities). Wifi connection performant and stable.
Breakfast was wonderful. we travel from New Zealand and this lovely hotel has always been our first stop after arriving in Rome. Absolute attention to detail makes for the perfect stay in every way.We love this hotel.
Small hotel in the town of Grottaferrata, with great amenities and a delicious restaurant, we were staying there with my girlfriend, and we both loved the place, the atmosphere is amazing!
