All of the staff at the staff were excellent. I would especially like to mention Matt and Claudia for their excellent and patient service. Helping with directions to various places and sorting our boarding passes for our journey home. Breakfast was excellent.

Excellent location is quiet Murano. Breakfast was good; great coffee. It was reasonably priced, considering how expensive accommodations are in Venice.

Everything about this apartment was perfect. I could not fault it in any way. I have been traveling to different countries for over 30 years. This is my fifth trip to Venice and by far the best accommodation.
The transfer from the airport to Murano was simple via Alilaguna. It was only a 15-minute walk from the boat stop to the apartment. The hosts met us on arrival. The apartment was spacious and super clean. It had lots of useful facilities that we made use of; TV, Wi-Fi, Washing Machine, Outdoor courtyard (great for drying towels), microwave, fridge, freezer etc. There is a supermarket just 5 minutes from the apartment. There are several Vaporetto stops in Murano (the closest was only 10 minutes from the apartment) which made it easy to travel both to Burano and the main Island of Venice itself.
The temperature of the apartment was automatically controlled - which was great. There were also shutters and blinds so you could control the lighting.
The area of the apartment was super tranquil. Perfect after a busy day on the main island.
Fly into Venice Marco Polo Airport, 7km from Murano. From there, take a direct water taxi (15 minutes) or the Alilaguna Linea Blu ferry (30 minutes). Domestic travellers can also reach Murano by vaporetto from Venice (10 minutes).
The most convenient airport for both domestic and international travellers is Venice Marco Polo Airport. It's approximately 7km from Murano, offering direct water taxi services, making it the best choice for accessibility and proximity.
In Murano, Italy, the primary mode of public transport is the vaporetto, a water bus service. Routes 3 and 4.1/4.2 connect Murano to Venice. Alternatively, you can explore the island on foot, as it's compact and pedestrian-friendly. Cycling is not common due to the island's size and layout. Driving is not possible as there are no roads for cars.
The best area to stay in Murano, Italy, is the central district, known for its glass-making studios, shops, and the Glass Museum. It offers convenient access to vaporetto (water bus) services, making it ideal for visitors.

I loved staying on Murano.
I loved staying on Murano. It was less crowded than Venice itself, especially at night and early mornings. I was able to take a glass working class and visit a furnace to see how the glassblowing masters work, which was very interesting. It felt like staying in a small town with easy access to Venice, Burano, and the airport.

The main streets of the island get very crowded during the day. However, move a little away from the crowds and it becomes peaceful.
After the day trippers have gone even the main streets become quiet.

We really enjoyed staying at the glassblowers' island of Murano, as a basis for visiting the city of Venice. It's a small and very peaceful island with mostly day trippers from the city, and a few nice bars and restaurants along the waterside. The boat into Venice runs frequently and we even got some spectacular views of the Dolomiti mountains. After a day of visiting the city we enjoyed being able to retreat back to the peace and quiet of Murano for the night.

A beautiful quiet island with easy and regular ferries to Venice and the other islands. In October once the many little shops closed at 5, the evenings were very quiet with just a few restaurants open in week nights. Friday night far more open. A great find if you want to see Venice but want to escape the crowds and see more of the other islands.
It was one of the best accommodations I've stayed in. Great as a base for exploring the other islands as well as Venice itself. You can relax better on Murano than in the city, yet the close availability of a vaporetto stop allows you to get everywhere quickly. The flat is well equipped and very comfortable. What I liked most was the large, comfortable bed and the spacious bathroom. In addition, it was incredibly clean. I would recommend to anyone for a short or long stay.
Hotel Conterie is a hidden treasure. We enjoyed every moment while visiting Murano. Our room was spotless, with new linens and great shower pressure. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the light breakfast, which was perfect... with plenty of variety. We loved the coffee machine that made cappuccino, latte, etc... relaxing on the open air breakfast patio. It was a great value, and we would love to return. Thank you for being the perfect hosts,
.
Simo, the host, was from the beginning very strong communicator- he picked us up from Venice island with his own boat :) the room was very spacious and clean, there also was a breakfast prepared in the fridge(optional) we could leave our luggage after check out without a problem. the area murano is very beautiful and quiet, a must after the turist overload in Venice. Very recommended!
The property owner had a kind young lady meet us at the Murano boat stop and guide us to our apartment and she also answered any questions we had regarding the apartment or Murano. Also the apartment is very large and comfortable, clean, and next to the canal and St Peter church of Murano.
By far one of my favorite hotels of all the time. The interior set up and how they organize everything was very nice. Old building with a modern touch so its super comfortable. Murano is quieter and only 12 min from Venezia. Found good restaurants around here too.
The hotel's position is right on the main Murano canal. So in the middle of everything, but due to the island of Murano not having a 'night life ' it was peaceful in the evenings. We had a first floor room with a canal view. Stunning room and views.
Spacious and we'll equipped apartment. You can cook a meal, sit in the garden, watch Netflix series on the huge TV, and of course explore the city of Murano as if YOU are a citizen, wonderful experience.
The location and the space were fantastic (but could use some darker curtains in the bathroom)! It was very quiet but easy to move in and out of Venice and surrounding areas. Definitely recommend!
A oasis of calm on the island of Murano, just 15 minutes by vaporetto from Venice. Comfortable beds and all mod cons, exactly as advertised. Great communication with the owner. Highly recommended.
The hotel is wonderfully located at the seaside on the beautiful island of Murano. We enjoyed the warm-hearted welcome of our host and our unique stay at this special and lovely place.
Simple but elegant, spacious, sunny. Located in a quiet corner of murano, but close to 2 ferry stations, with easy access to Venice. Very pleasant and comfortable stay overall.
Loved sitting in the courtyard with drink service. Lovely location just a short distance from the bustle of Venice, but quiet and still interesting with the Murano sites.
Great location, few mins walk from the nearest boat station. Boats to Venice and Burano run all day and night - lines 4.1/ 4.2 / 12
Comfortable beds and spacious rooms.
