We were simply blown away but the tidiness and the amount of amenities in the apartment. The owners has clearly thought of everything and made sure we had more than what we expected. Clean, fully equipped with all comforts. Everything we needed and more was available, even toys for the kids. Beautiful location and stunning views on a very well maintained building.

It was well priced compared to other similar size properties and having a washing machine was a good plus. Flat was always really warm which was welcome.

A great little ski resort, perfect for all levels but especially for beginners since the easy slopes are so easily accessible. It’s also very close to Aosta and the cable car ride is easy and fun. Highly recommended.

Great little resort for a ski weekend.
Great little resort for a ski weekend. If your a intermediate skier its great fun and you can keep moving all day as the resort is well connected. Great slopes for beginner's to and a few slopes for a bit of free style fun for advanced skiers . Not a massive night life though quite nights. only a few little restaurant's . a sleepy but very relaxing place.

Pila is a lovely ski resort. Ample runs for a 6 day trip. Just over €200 for a ski pass giving you access to 2 other Aosta resorts if you want to travel out. Lots of restaurant and bar choice on and off Piste. A great resort I’d quite happily visit again. If you are self catering and have room in your car shop in Aosta for groceries before heading up the windy mountain road. We didn’t have room so had to head down after dropping off bags. No problem as arrived in in good time and didn’t have to use skiing time to do this. We loved Pila. Recommend for novice intermediate skiers or mixed groups.

It is a very nice resort and our second time there, the hotels position can not be faulted and the staff were brilliant.
Restaurant was very busy and too noisy for our liking. We should have been told to bring our own towels to use in the pool and swimming hats so we didn’t use the facilities. We could not use the sauna either as our13 year old was not allowed in and we were not prepared to leave him alone while we used the sauna ourselves.

What a little Gem of a place, fantastic skiing and atmosphere, its not a lively place at night but still plenty to do. Food and drinks were very cheap compared to other resorts. Road up is pretty Hairy from Aosta its 22km of hairpins and slopes but it was well gritted. I would always check if its open. The cable car has parking for free in Aosta and opens at 8.30 till 5.

I had thought I was booking for Cogne, as that was the place name I put in my search, so was surprised when I discovered I had booked for Pila, which is up a cable car and nowhere near Cogne - this was not made clear at time of booking.
However, I came to like Pila. Its downside is that it's a ski resort with vaste, modern hotel complexes and really quite ugly. However by using the chairlift one is able to get above all this and the mountainsides and Lago do Chamole are very attractive with good, well marked paths. And the views are amazing! It's a very friendly place with lots of mountain cafes to relax in the sun. There aren't many other places where you can stay at 7000 ft without having to drive or walk to get there - very useful gondola lift up from Aosta.
Great location for a week stay in Pila for skiing.
10min walk from the top of the building across the Church car park and up the road to the piste.
Well furnished apartment, everything required for self catering with an excellent local shop for provisions.
Great storage room opposite apartment for skiis and free covered car park.
Great communication with Donnatella and easy arrangements with key collection and drop off.
Look forward to returning for another vacation in the future.
It was an excellent experience. Federica took great care of us, helped us to book a taxi, to book restaurants, prepared lovely breakfasts and we enjoyed chatting to her. Definitely recommend Ca' de Sass if you want a hotel with a personal feel! We'll be back with our family and friends :)
The apartment was wonderful, clean and perfectly located with easy access to the ski slopes only a couple of minutes drive. The hosts are really welcoming and kind and I cannot recommend this accommodation more if you are visiting Pila.
Wow! The property has such an amazing view and is up the mountain but still close to amenities. Property is easy to get to with the aosta-pila gondola which is close to Aosta train station at the bottom. Would love to stay again!
We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Chacaril. The location is perfect for exploring the mountains and offers magnificent views. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good food and breakfast.
Hotel and staff were superb, everyone in the bars and restaurants seemed pleased to see us and it was genuinely a superb 4 days and the skiing was great considering the high temperatures
