Having travelled extensively we have never experienced such hospitality, warmth and genuine care from hosts Micaela and Bebbe. The little resort that they have created reflects the love and passion they have to ensure guests have a magical experience. Breakfast was always delicious with lots of choices. We really liked Santo Stefano B&B Putignano. The hosts were extremely kind, the rooms were well heated (it was cold days in April) and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was very charming and nice, every morning we woke up in a good mood. The house and its location in the old part of the town are extremely authentic.
It’s not a remark, but it’s important to know: some rooms are reached by steep stairs. Parking is free very close - public parking or on the street. In April we had no problem with parking, but maybe during the busier season it will be more difficult.

Great people, very friendly, historic, traditional, compact town on a hill with good food and facilities. Although we missed the once a year Carnival there were activities all week in the old town which were amazing to experience

Fantastic destination to make trips to all famous historic towns as Matera, Alberobello and many more. Putignano has great historic centre, many restaurants also with live music. Every Wednesday there is really big market near historic centre with fashion and many more. People here are generally very friendly. I can only recommend it.PetrCzech Republic - 10Scored 10
Puitignano is not visited by thousands of tourists but keeps...
Puitignano is not visited by thousands of tourists but keeps its atmosphere. We were lucky to enjoy the festival of San Giovanni , when local people organize a market and a medieval parade in the center. There is a nice square, beautiful churches and good pubs in the town. Not far from the really touristy places, if you want to join the crowds:-).KláraCzech Republic

We arrived on bicycles, which our helpful and friendly host locked securely away for us, in a store room just round the corner. Fantastic 'international' breakfast was included: yogurt, fruits, cured ham, cheese. fresh bread rolls and typical Italian bread, besides cake - in another building full of character, just two minutes' walk away. Can't rate this stay highly enough. Thank you!

We had a room on the top floor without an elevator but with a balcony so you could relax after a tiring day and look at the roofs of Putignano. The room was very clean. Besides that it has a strategic location for exploring many if the famous gems of Puglia such as Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Locorotondo and Martina Franka, as my friends later on confirmed, it was sparkling clean, the breakfast was really good, and Putignano itself appeared to also be an interesting and romantic spot to explore.
