Superb villa with everything you need. Beautiful views of the mountains far away and privacy from all the trees around the villa. Great range of supermarkets just a few minutes drive away. Staff were really friendly and helpful, kept the swimming pool clean every second day. The design of the house is very unique and there are lots of interesting things inside to see. Would definitely return again.

Right on the shore of Lake Como, opposite Urio Pier, Hotel Orso Bruno is a 20-minute drive from Como. Rooms are simply furnished and some overlook either the mountains or the lake.

Hotel Orso Bruno exceeded our high expectations. It's location is brilliant, literally less than fifty metres in front of the small pier that the ferry boats pull into. The views over the lake from the restaurant are breathtaking. The staff are wonderful and could not do enough for us, Antonia even drove us down the lake to catch another ferry when the one that was due into Urio was unexpectedly cancelled due to an engine fault. We ate in their restaurant every night and the food was superb as were the staff, all of whom were very engaging, warm and professional. The hotel was very clean and our room had everything we needed including tea and coffee making facilities in our room which unfortunately many continental hotels do not provide. We would book Hotel Bruno again without hesitation and probably will do!
