Ok I’ll admit that we did wonder where were when we drove up a stony dirt track which seemed in the middle of nowhere but this little house is a gem! We were very comfortable and the host was very helpful with communication. There’s a wonderful beach just 5 mins down the road and the neighbour was such a darling bringing us eggs and bread. If you want some peace and and a nice beach this is the place for you

Very clean and nice place. And a very helpfull host.
Very nice city and friendly people. Personally I prefer the quiet places. Unlikely Marrakesh, Safi is very quiet and nice city to discover and learn about in a week, you will be able to make friends easily and recognise the locals quicker. Also the beach and the areas around it is very close and the prices are very affordable.

Safi, Great little Medina, loads of shops, nice promenade but many of the main sights were closed for refurbishment.
Superb pottery, well worth an unofficial guided tour, but agree your price before you go.
Loads of artists showcasing their work.
Not much else to do but wander around the souk and potteries. Great for a 2 day trip, wouldn't want to spend more than 3-4 days there.

Friendly city.
Friendly city. There aren't too many tourists, so it's not for show - you just see people getting on with their daily lives. It doesn't have touristy markets and many restaurants, but there sure are places to eat (Chez Hosni!) and the pottery quarter is fantastic. 1-2 days are enough.

Safi, not my favourite spot in Morocco. Why?
Safi, not my favourite spot in Morocco. Why? Well, I just did not have a feeling with it. This does not mean you have to skip it! Just a few houres or one day is enough to see all the highlights in this city. If you go to the beach, definitly drink a juice or cocktail in the Wave & Chill bar.

There is nothing to see or do in Safi, and there are no good restaurants either. Therefore I would not recommend Safi unless you just want to relax and do nothing. But the people are good and I felt comfortable there.

Safi is an interesting city especially for the lovers of the ceramics.
Very different of the other Moroccan cities. Very traditional and without so many tourists.
I recommend to go to the beach, which is amazing . If you are looking for a nice place to eat , Chez Hosni is the best.
The owner is a super nice guy who picked me up when I couldn't find the place. Tea and bread waiting for me when I arrived which was greatly appreciated. The bedroom is very comfortable with a very traditional vibe, and you have the possibility to cook and use the roof terrace. I was also offered a chicken tagine for dinner for a fair price of 40 dirhams which was nice since there were not many restaurants in the area. Good value for money when compared to other options in Safi.
Excellent hotel with excellent location, extremely clean & comfortable . Upon arrival, l was warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff Leila she makes my trip more interesting with her advices & tips about the city.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody!
It's a true sample of excellent hospitality.
Many thanks also to Houssine and Said, for going just that little step extra for the guests!
The Riad is very old (300+ years) and absolutely authentic. Nothing has been structurally altered. Very clean and well maintained (despite its obvious age).
The staff as usual are so nice and helpful.
Breakfast up on the terrace is wonderful. Rooms are very comfortable. The house is steeped in history and a sensory delight. Safi is not a big tourist town, it is old and real Morocco.
From the time I checked in to the day of my departure, Amel and the staff at the White Horse went out of their way to make feel welcome and accommodate my needs. Each day after my breakfast I would walk out the main door of the Riad and be straight onto the market area of Safi. I couldn’t ask for more.
Great location, the view was spectacular. The pool was perfect. The food was very good. Great feel to the hotel, but the gem of the hotel is its staff. From the Chef, to the guide, to the manager, all of them were cheerful, helpful and caring.
Entrepreneurial owner has tried his best to create a cozy place with character and decorative touches. Welcomed us with tea and breads. Great internet. Free parking nearby. Good location if you are mostly interested in surfing.
Please note; the WiFi is free, not paid for; as stated
I have been coming to Safi for many years now, and every time I come I stay in this hotel, because in my opinion its the best in the locality
the property was a cute small room on the outside of town near the beach. it was very comfortable, and the staff were incredible. always willing and able to help me out.
