Management made this short stay perfectly enjoyable, with easy-to-understand entry instructions, recommendations on everything and interesting stories about the building's history. The building itself is fascinating with many unexpected features - rooftop sundeck with jacuzzi - subterranean dining room for intimate gatherings. Breakfast was taken in a beautiful small courtyard adjacent to the kitchen. Breakfast was brought in fresh from a local bakery every day - the pastries were absolutely delicious - the coffee made to suit personal taste! The room was large and comprehensively equipped. The shower water flow was responsibly controlled but at a sensible rate. The bed was firm and comfortable - providing two excellent nights sleep. This jewel of a place is an ancient house sympathetically converted to a luxury hotel where guests are cared for with charm and empathy. Many thanks and congratulations to Timothy Camilleri and family - your awards are well deserved!

The hotel is very well located, has 2 Swimming Pools on the Rooftop, and a Jacuzzi (these last two need a little revamping).
I liked the fact that they answered our request to switch rooms, as the Toilet had an issue with the Shower Cabin that leaked water, causing a flood on every shower.

This was a great location for accessing the rest of the island with many bus routes passing from between 4 to 16 minutes walk from the accommodation. The old town has many interesting building off the lanes and alleys but it is easy to get lost.

A city where there is not a lot to do, nearly no restaurants did survive the Corona crisis. There are a few take away's, but that's about it. A cosy but small town, but nothing really to see and no restaurants to have a nice dinner.
