Henningsvær is such a lovely little town… I truly enjoyed it. The night before I arrived I’d considered axing it from my destination list in favor of taking the ferry overnight from Svolvær to Tromsø. I am SO GLAD I went there! Went sea swimming at a lovely little beach, went for several great walks, enjoyed the shops and the people.
The guesthouse was comfortable and well located, and the room was very nice and neat as a pin. It was a very nice stay and I really enjoyed chatting with the owners about their story around the inn. The breakfast is also superb and that’s before I mention the extremely good coffee and other goodies available throughout the day.

The cottage resort is tucked at the end of the islands of Henningsvær. The cottage was clean with free parking and a nice view of the water. As we were there in the off season, nothing was open nearby (lobby, restaurant, sauna, etc). It was a pleasant walk to the center of town where the shops and restaurants were.
