In the centre square of Svolvaer, the location is excellent. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast selection was absolutely fantastic. The most delicious breakfast I’ve had in ages! The staff were so accommodating and assisted with a late check out no charge when our travel plans changed. Max at the front desk was so helpful and efficient, thank you for a wonderful stay!

It is very minimalist, automatic check-in by code, there is no reception, there is only a couple of vending machines, but everything is well written in the description and in my opinion, if you do not have particular demands and you only have the need to sleep before continuing your trip to the Lofoten islands is perfect and above all economical compared to other hotels. I am satisfied with my stay.

Having read some of the reviews I had my doubts, but it turned out great, I really don't know what people are expecting when booking a more budget friendly hotel!
The room was of good size with an unexpected outdoor terrace, which was a real sun trap. It was perfectly clean, and the soft bed was very much to my liking. Having brought along my own coffee, I made good use of the kettle.
When I had an issue with the code, due to me making 2 separate bookings for 2 nights, a 2 minute phone call sorted this out. Without doubt I would stay here again.
On Lofoten’s rugged coastline just 400 metres from the centre of Kabelvåg fishing village, this hostel has a sauna, BBQ area, laundry facilities and free Wi-Fi. A breakfast buffet is included.
