Fantastic wide property, bedrooms are spacious and nicely decorated with taste, modern but not pretentious while staying true to the local style. Breakfast was lovely, and so was the staff at the restaurant where we ate very well (even if we’d love to see more vegetarian/vegan options). We loved the pool area as well.

The parking was very close to the room so it was easy to manage our luggage. Nearby there is a cafe, or beach bar and restaurant which made our stay excellent. It has chairs and tables on the sand, so you could spend a day here relaxing. We were there in the late afternoon until sunset.

Very good value for money. Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly but professional. Breakfast better than we expected at this price.

the resort is great, although being slightly out of season the other restaurants were not open - save for a function for a car company doing a launch. The beach club was great - recommend a lunch there.

Lovely relaxed beach vibe - a little hip but still seems low...
Lovely relaxed beach vibe - a little hip but still seems low key. It was not high season when I stayed, and am sure its very different over high summer. Comporta itself is a tiny village, surrounded by stunning beaches which are a short drive away. Would love to come back when its a bit busier, or at the same time of year but with friends to enjoy it with.
I went for a dip at Comporta beach (a 5 minute drive away), where there is a couple of beach front restaurants (not cheap!) and a cafe shack for coffee, drinks, beers and ice cream. (the ice cream I bought was more than double in price what it normally is even at other beach cafes!)
I also drove down to Pego beach to watch the sunset. The beach bar was open, but very empty and closed while I was there. I went for dinner at Restaurant Sal, right on the dunes, and it was lovely sitting on the balcony watching the sun set over the ocean. Delicious meal and lovely service.
Everything, Margarida provided all the information we needed and checked us in into a big modern and perfectly clean Getaway with the nicest interior design we have ever come along with on booking.com (we liked the sofa so much, we ordered the same).
The house has everything you need for a weekend, a week or even longer. The beaches in comporta and carvahal are beautiful and provide snacks and restrooms in the restaurants. The view into the woods is priceless. We enjoyed every single moment and would love to come back!
The location was perfect, it was easy to walk around the town and to the beach. Straightforward drive from Lisbon airport. The staff was very friendly. Our room was spotless. Finally, we loved the atmosphere of the hotel, it was relaxing and private without being over the top. My wife and I came here to start our honeymoon, and I could not think of a better place to do so!
Our Recantus Comporta apartment was very comfortable, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for a short stay. It was in the perfect location making exploring Comporta and neighboring areas easy. A welcome bottle of delicious local wine was greatly appreciated and we enjoyed it at our outdoor dining table on our private patio.
Perfect central location, beautiful room with Comporta vibes. Super clean and fresh , all amenities were provided felt like you had a small private beach house. Minor problem with heating quickly dealt with by management . Would definitely recommend and book early as I’m sure this will be a popular choice come holiday season
There are not enough great things to say about this property. The villa was beautiful and the grounds pristine. All the people working at Spatia Comporta were very friendly and personable. We were treated like family and our every need was immediately attended to.
The hotel is a real gem in Comporta. Every little detail was thought to be pleasant, beautiful and comfy. Charlie and Lou the oweners are always there taking care of everything. The rooms are beautiful, the bathroom was big, we had a wonderful view of the pool
The home was so lovely and charming and beautifully decorated, great location a 5-10 minute drive to beaches & towns. The pool was fantastic for super hot august afternoons. Hosts were super helpful and responsive. Overall a magical time in Comporta!
We loved how laid back and relaxed the property was, beautiful pool, well equipped chalet, quiet, peaceful and within east reach of comporta and Melides. So comfortable, peaceful room in the tree tops, lovely sunsets and smell of pine. Will return!
The room was nice, not too small and very clean. The owner was very friendly. There were parking spaces directly in front of the Hotel. For a stop on a road trip down the cost from Lissabon to Algarve, it is a good place to stay!
Very cute apartment with private access and outdoor space. The location in the center of Comporta Village can’t be better, worth the higher price if you would like to walk to dinner and drinks without worry about driving.
Helena and Rita were most helpful. My one person room was like a beach house, and super comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Usually I stay in 5* hotels, but can warmly recommend this type of accommodation as well.
Design, architecture, blend with natural nature, close enough by car to Comporta beaches and restaurants. The overall vibe of the place. Peace and tranquility. Nice spa. Friendly staff.
Beautiful house in the core of Comporta town. We had a great time. As it was new when we book it, some things were still missing, but the host did his best. I will come back here.
The property itself is beautiful, amenities comfortable and well located to discover the Comporta region, waiters in the restaurant always kind and polite.
