Very nice town, nice people.
Very nice town, nice people.
We managed to visit the monastery and in the evening there was a national event so it was very nice.
I think that within the limits of our time we covered the main thing.
I think it was possible to have more fun in the town.

Picturesque old town with two major atractions: the royal church with its exquisite 13th century frescoes and the Curtea de Argeș monastery. The town is a good base for exploring the reagion: Transfagarasan, Vidraru lake, Poenari fortress, Câmpulung Muscel, Hurezi Monastery (UNESCO WORLD heritage), Corbi church built in a clif with frescoes

The princely court ruins and St Nicholas church are not to be missed. The centre is great for walking around and the market is a great place to grab a snack. We liked the Municipal museum too. We also enjoyed the Romanian food at La Costica where the locals gather. Curtea de Arges was a great surprise!

We arrived at the hotel after a hard day's journey by car. Already in the first minutes, I was convinced that we had chosen a wonderful place. It started to get dark and I had the feeling that we were in a fairy tale place. I was convinced that fairies and goblins would meet in a moment in the next meadow.
The staff treated us fantastically. The food was very tasty. We travel with a small dog and he also felt good there. He found many friends there.
Thank you for a nice experience, we will definitely come back for a longer stay.
Very modern, clean and great location. All mod cons in the apartment, shower especially good. Just off the main street of Curtea de arges, short walk to restaurants, pubs and shops. Host was extremely nice and helpful. Superb base for visiting all the tourist attractions and amenities in the area. Only 1 hour drive approximately from Balea Lake and the world famous Transfagarasan. I would recommend to anyone.
This accommodation was very nice and stylish. We had a comfortable bed and a small terrace (balcony) on the ground floor. It was very quiet there, no noise from the street.
This small newly built hotel is administered by Monica, a very friendly woman who helped us a lot with information about Transfagarasan and recommended a nice place to eat as well as places to see in the city. Her English was very good.
Beautiful old, traditional cottages in a great location in Curtea de Arges, a walkable distance from the town center and the historic monastery. Rustic furnishings and comfortable amenities. The owners are wonderful and helped us with everything — they even let us borrow a power adapter to charge our phones since we’d lost ours. If you’re passing through Curtea de Arges, this is the place to stay.
Our flight was delayed and so we got to Curtea de Arges late. But the staff was there to meet us and gave us a wonderful late dinner. Incredibly kind, flexible, open and understanding - regardless of the language barrier! I'd love to spend more than one night here.
Stayed here for four days while visiting my partners family in November hotel was excellent could not thought a single thing, hotel is clean staff are very kind and the restaurant food is amazing would definitely recommend and will definitely be booking again.
It was nice, clean with soft, comfortable beds. Good food, generous portions and friendly staff. The internet worked fine during our stay. They have a private parking next to the hotel. The restaurant have a lot of authentic decor.
It's a nice hotel with relaxing areas, if refurbished a bit, generally, it would be quite awesome (Tennis court, furniture, lake area, pools). It's relaxing and beautiful around. Staff was really kind and freindly!
Very cozy hotel with each room being in individual house. Also there is a garden wherr in front of every house there is a furniture which you can use in case you want to stay outside and enjoy the good weather.
Our stay was great. The host was nice and the breakfast delicious. The coffee was good. The room was clean and spacious, the bathroom imaculate. For sure we will return to this hotel, once we are in the region.
The host kindly accepted us in spite of the fact that we arrived late, due to huge time of waiting at the border. The hotel has a traditional family warmness. Food is rich and delicious.
Nice hotel , breakfast was good . Restaurant very good. Spa was nice . Great spot for a night or 2 . Room was clean , comfy bed . Staff were very friendly.
