Quiet location, room opening up to an inner court and a nice garden. Spacious room, preceeded by s separate income hall, and large bathroom. Unfortunately, appliances and equipment were deficient or questionable (see below). Clean towels and bed sheets.

What a gem! The castle itself is fantastic, lots of places to poke around on your own and surprises to be found (a skeleton?). I expected the food to be blah because hotel restaurants are usually uninspired, but this was probably the best meal we had in Slovakia! The setting is also very pretty - there is a forested area with trails across from the castle to go for a walk.

This was maybe one of the top 3 apartman in my life (among 30-40 accomodations). Use a code is just really convenient to enter the apartman. It was extremly clean and very well equipped. The beds were comfortable.... there was enough plug slot next to the bed.... always enough hot water, great heating system... just perfect.

The pension was opposite Zvolen nak railway station. The hotel is on a busy road so expect some noise. The room was clean and tidy. The shower was OK.
