The staff was excellent! But when we pulled out the sofa bed there were brown and red stains on the mattress, which was pretty disgusting. Other than that the facilities and everything else was excellent.

Not good. I booked two rooms close together and requested a late check-in because we were making a trip in for a funeral and would not arrive till around 11pm. Was sent an email late check in was approved. When we arrived there was no one at the front desk. We waited several minutes then I called the hotel and the ringing phone finally brought a clerk to the front desk. Messed up our reservation, sent us to a room that had not been cleaned at all, door was open and it appeared occupied. Beds were unmade fast food sacks on floor.. we had requested rooms close together at booking, but since one room was still dirty at 1130 at night they were unable to fulfill the request. Found my room had been entered and only towels replaced on night 2. No housekeeping, no trash removal, we had not requested more towels as we had plenty and had not requested housekeeping. Its states on posted sign in room no housekeeping provided unless you request it. I felt my privacy had been invaded. That maybe someone had an ulterior motive for entering my room. Found either a roach or water bug alive in bathroom when we returned to our room on night two.. I killed and flushed it.. Coffee is completely undrinkable. You would think hotels could at least get that rjght, for the price they charge. Thank heavens there is a Cracker Barrel that is very good close by. Look elsewhere for accommodations!

We actually came for a church meeting in a small group. Was very sad to see that Bergner's has closed, and much of the mall is now like a strip mall. Very low foot traffic in the stores. Cheddar's is a great place to eat. Due to Covid it appeared some businesses were closed either temporarily or permanently.

The Homewood Suite is in a great location, close to eateries, the mall, etc. Forsyth is not a very busy place. I don't know what type of sightseeing is in the area since I didn't do any of that during my stay at Homewood Suites. I was there for work. The evening social meal was good enough that I did not have to eat out.

The time I spent in Forsyth was productive and friendly.
The time I spent in Forsyth was productive and friendly. My visit was only for a day, but the hotel was well worth the money. It was quiet and peaceful there and seemed like a nice neighborhood. There were convenient shopping centers nearby, which ended up being helpful for things we forgot to bring.
The STAFF was outstanding - 6 employees are running the entire hotel, which had me baffled!
They simply cannot hire people to work and are working to keep the hotel going on their own.
Shame on the government for continuing these unemployment benefits and shame on the lazy people who would rather be lazy and not work. BRAVO to these hard working men and women who work night and day and don't complain.
THEY ALL DESERVE LARGE RAISES!
Very friendly and professional staff! Overall cleanliness in the public spaces and our room, which is greatly appreciated. Nice location close to restaurants and shops. We didn't get a chance to try it, but a free breakfast is always a perk. I'm sure this hotel typically offers good rates, however we stayed during a busy weekend where over 1,000 people were in town for a science fair exposition so our rate was much higher than normal.
The hotel was conveniently located and we were checked into a quiet room by a sullen clerk. The room was clean and met our expectations. Breakfast was located in the dusty, unvacuumed lobby. The cooked breakfast options were depleted by the time we came to eat at 7 a.m. There was no jelly for the bagged pieces of toast and bagels. There were two containers of diet yogurt. The coffee was undrinkable.
I liked nothing about the hotel as the rude guy behind the desk wouldn't let me check in.
I believe his name is Jeff and he was by far the worst person I've ever dealt with.
The hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was also very good, and liked that workout room, which had enough workout equipment for a night's stay.
