There was a sanitation score of 100 in the office. However, it was extremely hot in the lobby. Did not have a pleasant smell. The person behind the counter obviously did not want to be there. Might be a one star stay.

My family and I always stay here when we come into town.
My family and I always stay here when we come into town. We’ve never had any major issues until this stay. There was a live bed bug crawling on one of the beds. When I informed the staff in my opinion it seems like they’ve dealt with this before. There was no outrage, they apologies but it definitely seemed like something they were use to.
After the we showed them the bed bug (I have a video of it crawling around on a pillow) they changed out room. The new room had a dead cockroach, someone’s old water bottle, and dirty bathroom.

It's a lovely little town—a lot of food options.
It's a lovely little town—a lot of food options. I usually stop when traveling down to Florida or up to NYC. It never disappoints, as I tend to reach it when I start experiencing driver fatigue behind the wheel. It's the perfect area to stop over and recharge your batteries for the remainder of your trip.

Good town/small city to stay overnight when doing a long road trip. Plenty of restaurants to choose from across 3 different exits on I-95. Our "go to" restaurants are Mexican and sushi, but there are plenty of other places (burger joints, diners, chains) to consider. My wife and I felt safe wherever we went. The driving was easy to navigate. We did not stay long enough to do any tours of the town, however there is some interesting history there based on the lumber industry (hence the name of the town). Plenty of reasonably priced hotels to choose from.

Although it was a non-smoking room the stench of cigarette was overwhelming, the bathroom, especially the tile work was poorly done, looked like the guy next door did it it and was dirty, grime build up along the walls and threshold. I let the water in the shower run for 10 minutes and it never got hot. The bed was comfortable. The doggie yard was filthy. It was an easy on/off location for Rt 95. This is my second stay at a RRI, the first was t not much better but I thought I would give them another chance. Never again

Never, ever stay at this motel.
Never, ever stay at this motel. I don't care if they give you a room for free. You definitely take your life into your hands staying at the motel. There was not one thing I can think of that was satisfactory. The room looked like it had just been bombed out in a wartime attack. The only thing that survived were the cockroaches, and they were plentiful. The noise from the other guests at 1 am was unbearable as was the noise from the A/C unit. The pool water was black. No towels in the bathroom. Local police were at the motel several times during the night for drunk and disorderly guests.

Make sure the room has a hair dryer.
Make sure the room has a hair dryer. Since there is a coffeemaker there should always be creamer, sweetener and a stir stick or spoon. Plastic cups are good for drinking water. Styrofoam cups are ok for coffee but not other beverages.
This is the third time we've stayed at the Comfort Suites Lumberton on our way down to Florida. We like it because it's right off the Interstate, next to an Outback Steakhouse with lots of other eating places nearby. The lodging is very modern, comfortable and clean. Security and safety are good. The breakfast was first-rate for a lodging like this. Scrambled eggs and sausage were excellent. The price has gone up due to inflation but is still reasonable.
Friendliest staff ever! I was very impressed with the level of cleanliness. But, and this is serious, if something wasn't broke, give it a minute, it will be. I gave this place a 6 score because the staff are really so kind, friendly and there to help with anything. And clean, this entire hotel, every room, space, office, lounge, just spotless and welcoming.
Pet friendly. Easy access to several restaurants. Easy access to interstate.
Breakfast was good-real scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage patty along with other choices like cereal, yogurt. First floor availability for pet owners was great.- easier to take dog out.
Dirtiest most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in when we got into our room. There were ashtrays poured all over the floor cockroaches crawling up the walls. The room was about 100° inside. It was absolutely awful. I would had rather just slept in my car.
Room felt very clean and had lots of room for luggage and walking around. The beds were very comfortable. Lots of room on the sink and the water pressure in the shower was good (you don't always find that)
Really a nice room for where it was located
Desk associates and others were friendly and breakfast was great! I liked the small quiches.
Thank you because we stopped at a different hotel on booking.com and I was afraid to take my clothes off for bed it was dirty.
The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Very nice to have after a long day on the road.
The hotel also had luggage carts at their back entrance which was closer to our room, so moving our bags to our room was very easy.
Staff very friendly. Facility was old fashioned style motel with single attached rooms in a row. Old fashioned room door key that we placed a $5 deposit on and got it back once we returned the key.
Location Easy access off highway. we were traveling through only. Generic older hotel. Looks sketchy from outside but was clean and average inside Good value for the money.
A lot of times pet friendly hotels smell like dog or smoke but this room was very nice, clean and just what we needed. Not having carpet was a bonus for our allergies too.
The room was very nice and clean beds was comfortable. The hotel was in a good location was quiet and off the main highway. Near shopping center and restaurants.
About two hours to Myrtle Beach and very affordable. We picked this hotel because it was on our way to the south. I wouldn't spend more than one night there.
