The room was clean and comfortable and the motel is well maintained. They have a wonderful coffee machine in the lobby. It is very close to Muir Woods. Traffic can be very heavy on the adjacent road.

I was pleased to discover my room included a Jacuzzi. However, a microwave/frig would have been a bonus. I slept well. Good wifi.

We really love the accommodations that number 14 and didn’t like the accommodations at number seven
Located 20 minutes’ drive north of the Golden Gate Bridge, this eco-friendly inn provides rooms that overlook Mill Valley. It offers a full-service restaurant on site.
This motel is 5 miles from the Tiburon Ferry Terminal, which offers rides to Angel Island and Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco. It features free Wi-Fi.
Nestled at the tip of the scenic Tiburon Peninsula around the cove from Sausalito, on the San Francisco Bay, The Lodge at Tiburon, a 3-story California Craftsman style upscale lodge is set on 3 acres,...

It has a great location and is a very nice property. The bed was comfortable and the room was large. Very walkable to bars and restaurants.
Located on 5 acres, this Corte Madera hotel serves a deluxe breakfast buffet and offers a seasonal outdoor pool, putting green and rooms with flat-screen TVs. The Golden Gate Bridge is 9 miles away.
Calm city. Safe city. Lots of options to eat and to do groceries.
We went there to visit San Francisco. We've chosen Mill Valley and Sausalito to park our car and take public transportation to San Francisco.
Best decision ever. Car remained intact. No one crashed our window and we were happy.

The unit is great for a couple, but not for more than two assuming the two sleep in the same bed. Otherwise a very nice place. The driveway up to the unit is very steep and could be a challenge for some people.
We went there to visit our daughter who has a small apartment and a new baby, but the area is a great place to visit in general. Mill Valley can be navigated, but road network is tricky and sometimes difficult--be sure you have a GPS with guidance if you don't know the area!

See my review.
See my review. Property is dangerous unless approached in the daytime as there was zero lighting illuminating the door to the unit or the side yard. Pitch black. Floor drops 3-4" as you step from door sil into unit. What if Mom or Grandma went in first. They would have lawsuit to deal with broken foot, leg or worse.
NO RESPOSE UNTIL TRIED THIRD PHONE NUMBER. NICE, NICE REP WHO "GOT IT". GROSS UNIT AND GROSS FILTHY OLD BEATER CAR IN DRIVEWAY OR SUPER HIGH END NEIGHBORHOOD. CREEPY!
MY PLANNED TRIP WAS RUINED AS IT WAS TOO GROSS TO STAY IN THE ICKY, STINKEY UNIT. I WAS HIGHLY INCONVENIENCED AND WILL NEVER USE BOOKING.COM AGAIN. VERY SAD SITUATION WITH THAT UNIT. MAYBE LITTLE KIDS WOULD HAVE FUN BUT AN ADULT WHO HAS STAYED IN NICE HOTELS IN THE WORLD WOULD BE THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED WITH IT. AGAIN, BOOK A HOTEL AND DRIVE UP THERE TO ENJOY THE VIEW OR HIKE AREA.

Pictures on wed site are deceiving.
Pictures on wed site are deceiving. You can’t put lipstick on a pig and call it good. Broken doors, faucets not attached, dirty in the corners. Our first room reeks of pee. Broken down cars that have been there for years? We didn’t get bed bugs - that’s the only plus.

Hello.
Hello. We were surprised, shocked, really, that a woman with Covid was staying in a room next door at the Muir Lodge!!! The receptionist gave us NO indication or warning of the situation, as we would have been more cautious. We did not feel protected or secure. The motel should have taken better care of their other guests by at least informing them of a possible contamination. The reception simply wanted to hide this situation and was not forthright/honest, and put us all at risk.

Convenient drive to Muir Woods and to the Golden Gate Bridge...
Convenient drive to Muir Woods and to the Golden Gate Bridge park area for a great view of the bridge. Cute small town with a few good options for meals, coffee, etc. but other than that not much of interest directly in Mill Valley.
Mill Valley Inn is a sweet little jewel box of a hotel! Quiet and surrounded by lovely lush trees , it's located right in the middle of everything yet super peaceful. The room was very tasteful and pretty and vintage without being outdated. Comfortable bed and great bathroom with a soaking tub...
We loved it!
Wonderful view. Great location between Sausalito, Mill Valley and Tiburon with easy access to bike and running path. Brought our bicycles and explored area without having to deal with traffic. Unique experience watching how the daily tides come in and out in the area. Perfect for a couple getaway.
The hotel was good, it’s just old and had a nice makeover but not a full blown renovation. We still had popcorn ceilings and it looked like there may have been a flood upstairs once upon a time. It’s feels over priced, but overall we had a lovely visit.
We were looking for a cheap overnight stay. Muir Woods Lodge may be reasonably priced compared to other hotels but the hotel was dirty with cobwebs around. With hindsight, I’d have picked a more expensive stay for a more comfortable stay.
The staff and welcome were exceptional. The continental breakfast was the best I ever had. The town just feels tucked away from the world and the inn is just nestled in and quite cozy. The room was spacious and bed was very comfortable.
I remember staying at the hotel the first time many years ago when it first opened. Everything felt new, cool and trendy. Now it is lovely but feels a bit tired like it needs a refresh. Love the breakfast, breakfast room and deck area.
The hotel was excellent, clean, modern with all amenities you could wish for. Staff were polite and professional. We were welcomed with a complementary bottle of wine. Will definitely return.
Fair budget option given the lack of alternatives in the area
Close to a few options to pick up some food - Mill Valley Whole Foods and take aways just 5 mins away
Easy to get to

Lovely pool area with trees and view to hills, great breakfast and good rooms too. Loved the location near Sausalito and with bike routes just by the hotel. Perfect for a family!
it was conveniently located close to Mill Valley, it was clean and the staff were pleasant. it was surprisingly quiet for how close it is located to highway 101. felt safe
We fell in love with this place, the view from our room, the food, the mood. It doesn’t feel like a contemporary hotel and that’s precisely what we loved about it.
A really lovely location and nice clean rooms. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful.
The room was very clean, the hotel was nice and quiet as well. Impressed!
