The evening front desk staff member was excellent. He was able to come to our room and get the TV working which was greatly appreciated.
The morning was disappointing. While staff was pleasant, the facility had a landscaping crew blowing in bark entirely too early. That was a big oversight from a customer service point of view.

I personally booked the room through a third party app and once I arrived at the hotel the check-in process went smoothly. My reservation was ready and I was in my room in no time at all. This is a great place to stay because of the privacy and comfort the hotel provides.

Beautifully restored historical home. We were warmly greeted by our host and given a very interesting history of the building, which they have renovated with love and much hard work.
Gorgeous garden and outdoor area.
Our room was spacious, lovely, and very comfortable. Delicious breakfast made by the host's husband. A truly wonderful experience. And, one we will definitely repeat.

We had a nice room , just inside the back (locking)door and a nice little patio , just outside our back door , overlooking the river. Patio had a private table and chairs at our room and several lounge chairs and tables closer to river . If it had not been 104 degrees , during our stay , we would have loved to spend more time out there . Deer wandered all around the area , foraging .

We went to wildlife safari. That was ok.
We went to wildlife safari. That was ok. All of the fast food restaurants had horrible rude employees and people are just not friendly. The only place that was nice was the roller skating rink. I don't recommend visiting there as people are rude.

This town is a dump, homeless everywhere, businesses shuttered, surly shopkeepers, religious zealots and hard right extremist.
The one winery downtown advised us AT THE TASTING ROOM, that they "preferred people who bought bottles of wine". For two of us to taste mediocre wine it cost $30.00, too much to pay for a snooty and rude experience.
I have tasted and bought wine in areas far and above Rosenberg and never been told that the winery only wanted people who would buy a case of wine and not mere tasters.
Avoid Rosenberg unless you have to stop there because you are too tired to go further

Roseburg was an overnight stop for us.
Roseburg was an overnight stop for us. It’s a nice town with a few amenities. The Umpqua River is a beautiful river that meambers through the town and the hotel was very close to the river but no actual access to the river but a nice view from our balcony and even spotted an Eagle a couple times! We ate at Denny’s across the street which is typical Denny’s breakfast fare but their pancakes were very good! If we have need to stop in future travels we would stay at Riverfront Inn again . It was clean, comfortable beds and nice view of the River. For dog lovers there was a dog area .

found a chinese food restaurant - Chi's Garden Restaurant.
found a chinese food restaurant - Chi's Garden Restaurant. They serve large portions and we had to take leftovers back to our room. Breakfast is good too. Won't go hungry before you leave.
If you get a chance, try to go to the wildlife safari in Winston. We wanted to but we were traveling with a dog and you can't drive through with pets. Maybe our next trip we will do that.

The housekeeping staff needs a leader that knows what they're doing. The room next to us was rented out and the window was broken. According to the staff it had been broken for awhile. Spend $20 on each room, paint and caulking would go a long way!
The breakfast was convenient and suitable for our needs as it was convenient to eat in our room with our puppy.
The mattress was one of the best we have experienced at a hotel or motel.
Loved the pet welcome bag, a very nice touch.
Front desk staff were very pleasant and efficient.
Nice grass area for pets.
We enjoyed our stay at this unique historical place with periodic decor and extreme comfort. Cherri, the hostess, was above and beyond helpful and welcoming! She provided amazing local recommendations and gave a wonderful tour of the house. Can’t ask for a better experience in Roseburg!
Bathroom was updated, bright and spacious. Room size was generous, parking was easy and breakfast was quite good, really enjoyed the waffles and coffee. I also liked that I could control the room temperature so it was cool for sleeping. Overall it was a good hotel, a pleasant stay!
Room exceed expectations. Property had been totally refurbished. For an old property it was in excellent condition. The property was a great value for a very low price. Did not expect much but was satisfied with the hotel. It is old and not fancy but you get what you pay for!
Friendly, helpful staff. Room had everything I needed including a fridge/freezer. The decor was better than most rooms in this price range. It’s conveniently located to the old downtown Roseburg, which is the main reason I haven’t booked elsewhere.
Breakfast was good first morning. Next morning we woke up without power, so there was almost nothing for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful during the whole stay. The location of the hotel was easy for the needs of our travel plans.
It’s a grab n go help yourself breakfast .. convenient absolutely.. I really have to say the best part of this hotels location is the river view absolutely gorgeous.. make sure you request the river side first floor
We had a snafu with our check in that eventually was resolved. Our room was great, the beds were just right, and the hotel was clean and quiet overnight. We would stay there again.
This was the perfect spot for our short stay in Roseburg. The small house was perfect for two people and it was close to everything we needed. We would stay again.
