Clean, comfortable rooms that are affordable and the location is close to the interstate, but not too close, so traffic noise is not an issue. For our family travelling, it was an ideal hotel to have a pleasant place to stay and has amenities (restaurant inside hotel, gas station across the street) to make our stay a restful one.

It was quiet inside and out. I barely heard anyone. The last noises I heard was someone above me shortly after 10:00 but it quieted down very quickly.

York, NE was where I went to college in 1999-2003. It was good to be back to visit the city and the college for the 20th reunion. I like the town as it is peaceful and fun and has things to do if you search out the right things. Chances R is a restaurant that is a must to go and visit. York University is also a place to go visit to see the Museum in the basement of the Mackey Center.

The room I stayed in was on the ground floor, the room was clean and good condition. The fridge worked well (Froze water bottles in the freezer overnight). I did not stay for breakfast or try any other of the facilities as I was on a road trip and just stayed overnight and got back on the road. The room door locked and felt secure, however the external door to the hallway did not lock. The parking lot was well lit and the hotel is next to some fast food places to eat and some gas stations. I would stay there again.

York is a very nice town.
York is a very nice town. Spent some time there conducting family research on some family members who moved west from Morgan County Ohio in the mid 1800's. Clean town, nice helpful people there, easy to get around the town.

It struck me as a location for tired drivers and snowbound travelers. Its a little hard to navigate due to concrete barriers. Our GPS got us around. There are lots of hotels of good quality. The people are nice. I would stay there again. We went to a packed McDonald's for breakfast. It was full of locals getting breakfast before leaving to the Nebraska vs Wisconsin game. Two customers were from Wisconsin. I commented they were brave to were their W. shirts. The response was "We heard that Nebraska fans were nice people." The people who heard it said "Thank you." and chuckled.

We were going to have a fine dinner at Chances Are .
We were going to have a fine dinner at Chances Are . The waiter took our order, patrons who arrived after us were being served, so after two hours we decided to leave and we were told our order had been lost. So we left without eating.
They said they were sorry and that was all no rain check or anything. They did not charge us for two glasses of wine.
Rooms were good. And the front desk staff went above and beyond to help me resolve a reservation issue which was a miscommunication from my bookings.com and their hotel site.
For nearly $300.00 for a night in York, Nebraska, I expected a suite with champagne and caviar! It was just a 2 bed room like any other sub $100.00 room all over the nation.
