The newly renovated space has old world charm with all of the modern conveniences. I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Laguardia.

Spacious room with large fully equipped communal kitchen. Hosts super friendly and helpful. Dog loved it too!

The room was very comfortable, especially the beds. The hotel is located right next to the road but it was very quiet (our room faced the backyard). The common dining area was cozy, clean, and well-maintained. Our host Sarai received us warmly. We are very grateful to Sarai for giving us good advice on visiting Gaztelugatxeko Doniene and other cities in the Basque region. We had a great stay.

I can’t recommend this hotel any more highly. Absolutely superb facilities with lovely coffee and patisseries and cake for the guests. The breakfast was very good every morning and the owner Karmele went above and beyond to make me feel welcome in her hotel. I would highly recommend Karmeles hotel and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Karmele for a great break !

The accommodation is not directly on the Camino but the 15-minute detour was definitely worth it - what a lovely place! You can tell that the accommodation is run with a lot of love and attention to even the smallest details. Both my room and the common areas were beautiful, very clean and spacious. I would also like to mention the incredible owner - she made me feel welcome straight away and even took me to the nearest supermarket after a long day on the Camino! Once again, thank you. 😊 I would definitely come back!
