The host, Giovanna, was so warm and welcoming. We were impressed by her renovation of her house. Exquisite!

Set in Ossuccio 800 metres from the lakeshore, B&B Garzola features a terrace overlooking Lake Como and Bellagio. It offers simple comfortable rooms with free Wi-Fi. Staying at Garzola was a pleasant experience. Our host,Michell, is giving his best to make it so. Apart from accommodation and stuff, I must point out convenient location for exploration of that part of Lake Como even without a car. Highly recommended

A great base for the research of the Upper Lario region.

The property itself was extremely comfortable and pleasant. Spacious, well-equipped, tastefully decorated, and charming. The view out on to Lake Como itself was breathtaking. Excellent value for money. A beautiful, non-touristy restaurant lies a short walk from the property too (Momi restaurant). Alessia made for an exceptionally thoughtful and helpful host.

Featuring a garden and a wellness area, Agriturismo Crotto Di Somana offers rustic-style accommodation in the countryside of Mandello del Lario. Our host was incredibly welcoming! Served us coffee as we arrived and was very kind! We loved the rustic feel of the room and it was great proximity to the places we wanted to explore!

At an altitude of 1100 metres in Sorico and surrounded by a hundred-year-old pinewood, Agriturismo Giacomino offers rooms overlooking Lake Como or Lake Mezzola. A wonderful experience with an unforgettable view. We were welcomed with a delicious italian coffee. Fresh air, family feeling, extraordinarily good traditional food. I hope to come back soon.

Agriturismo La Fonte Di Mariella is surrounded by chestnut trees in Dosso del Liro, 7 km from Lake Como. It offers a traditional restaurant and country-style rooms with Liro Valley views. Wonderful location (once you have managed to drive up :D), great food at the restaurant, super nice people, relaxing atmosphere, beautiful nature, overall great place to calm the mind and soul. Especially after such a drive up (makes you sweat if you are from a flat country yourself 😅)
