We thought the breakfast could have been enhanced by having eggs available. The selection was limited and not the typical European breakfast we enjoy.
Our room and the view were wonderful and very clean and comfortable. The staff particularly front desk and restaurant servers were outstanding

Room was as described, very clean and comfortable. The restaurant downstairs is really good; breakfast recommended as it's good value for money the food quality is great too. In general, the food quality at the restaurant is very nice. The hotel is 5 mins from the train station and the entire region is easy to explore by train. The marketed "mountain view" is a bit underwhelming :)

The staff was very helpful upon check-in and even allowed me to check in a little earlier which was great because I could drop my luggage in the room and get out to experience the Gruyere Castle earlier than I thought. The view was incredible, it faced the mountains and Gruyere Castle. I was able to open the window and enjoy the air. It was a very clean and quiet room. Wish I stayed there more than a night.
