For the city in general, more English speaking would be better for the city, but it’s understandable why they wouldn’t speak as much English compared to other cities. Regardless I really enjoyed my stay and people were friendly and good hearted in general, I recommend anyone to take a visit when possible.
It’s very simple to get around via public transport. The food is good and there is a lot to choose from.

The city was bigger than expected with a lot to do. The Palace was a museum/gallery rather than a traditional palace and I would highly recommend climbing the tower stairs! Lots of other museums, churches and gardens etc or there are loads of places for shopping.

There's a youthful college-town vibe to the cafes and bars downtown; the city is flat so it's easy to walk everywhere, the Natural History Museum is not to be missed if you like that sort of thing, public transport is better than most, very good restaurant scene

It is in a beautiful location in the Schwarzwald.
It is in a beautiful location in the Schwarzwald. The hotel is in a quiet location though a five or so minute walk from the hauptbahnhof. If zoos are your thing there is one literally across the street. The location is well connected with busses, trams, and trains. You can see so many surrounding towns this way. Either get a land ticket (regional trains) or a day ticket (bus and trams).
I would visit again Karlsruhe again.

Karlsruhe is a modern city with a Palace which is now a good museum. The grounds are lovely as are the gardens at the zoo. Karlsruhe is a good place to stay for day trips to Baden Baden and Heidleberg.x
The staff were warm and welcoming, attentive to our requests. The room was very clean and spacious, it had all the amenities you would expect from a 4-star hotel. The bathroom was new, spacious and well-lit. There were plenty of options in the breakfast buffet, with coffee, eggs and other delicacies made on demand as well! The garage had plenty of parking places fitting our mid-sized car, with controlled entrance to keep it safe overnight.
The hosts are the nicest people I ever have pleasure to meet! They elevated customer experience on a new level, until now unknown to me (I must say that I have experience of more then 150 different hotels and B&B’s).
Interior was newly renovated and very modern. Everything is perfectly clean.
Choices of complimentary coffee and tee is plentiful. Fresh croissants, pretzels and buns for breakfast was delicious.
Truly a home away from home.
The ANA Eden is a very nice, comfortable hotel. Staff were generally very helpful and cooperative and reception willingly agreed to print some documents for me without charge. My room was pleasant but a rather curious shape with a thin corridor running along the window side. In the heat wave from which Germany was suffering at the time the air conditioning worked well - almost too well! Good, strong (free) wifi.
We loved the place. The beds are comfortable, and the room has a really beautiful interior. Big enough for two people. Spotless clean, which we loved the most. Near to the central station, Karlsruhe Hbf, but really quite, warm and comfy. The center is a 10-15min walk away. From Karlsruhe Hbf, we were able to travel to Colmar and Strasbourg easily.
This hotel will definitely be our first choice again.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were very kind and supportive and they corporate with us when we needed. The breakfast was good. Service in the restaurant were amazing and the staff were very kind.
Room size was vert big and have a good lightning and the bathroom was big also.
We stayed there for 4 nights. It was the best 4 nights in germany.
The location was good for us because our friend lived near by. There was free parking if not in the hotel parking then close to the hotel on the street.
The breakfast was incredible, many choices of every kind of food. Everything was fresh and delicious.
There was a free coffee from the machine at any time.
The room would be OK if it was cleaner
I liked the modern building and the balcony of the room. Room and bathroom were clean, bed was nice. Price was affordable. I like that the blankets are folded and left on top of bed in hotels in Germany as opposed to being tucked the underneath the mattress in the USA.
We ended up in Kaiserhof because we needed a hotel for the night as we were stranded travellers. The hotel is in a great location in the centre of Karlsruhe, we had a family room, which was totally fine for us. The breakfast was delicious with many different options!
Room was spacious and comfortable. There is a nice beer restaurant in the hotel, we received the discount coupon which can use there. Breakfast was also very nice. You can choose various kinds of breads, hams, egg dishes, dairies, fruits and so on.
Great hotel! Good-size, very clean room with many conveniences, especially wrt internet devices, i.e., USB ports, wireless charger. Balcony and motorized window covers nice bonus. Excellent breakfast, Wonderful staff. Central location.
Everything was very good. The room was big and clean, the breakfast was amazing, the stuff super friendly. The restaurant in the hotel definitely a plus. We had an amazing stay.
The room was clean and the location of the hotel is really good! The shower is amazing! The bed super comfortable. The workers are super friendly and kind!
An A.C. system that kept the room quite cool while also not being too noisy plus the room darkening curtains, and a very clean hotel room when we arrived.
