Fantastic long, wide runs and, mostly, quality modern lifts. There was lots of snow for late season skiing and plenty of off-piste opportunities. Food and drinks are are reasonably priced and good quality. Local people seem friendly and there is an interesting mix of nationalities on the slopes.

This was our second year of skiing in Gudauri. It is one of the best ski resorts in the Caucasus. Since there are ski lifts on different levels and sides of the mountain it is possible to enjoy skiing in various weather conditions.

NEW Gudauri is the place to be for ski and snowboard...
NEW Gudauri is the place to be for ski and snowboard adventure. You cannot get any closer then this. Rate of pass and rent versus what you get is more than okay. The pistes are very nice and talented or not talented; you will find your match. There is also possibility to parachute gliding or snowscooter rental. Many bars and restaurants with affordable pricing.

the place is excellent but new gudauri is better, you can enjoy with family, good restaurants, music, vibes, bargain with the local shops taking the devises for skiing and other activity you must have your snow boots and leather gloves to avoid falling and injury

It is a great place for ski/snowboard lovers!
It is a great place for ski/snowboard lovers! the slopes are great, all very well connected to each other with different ski lifts. The slopes are south looking mostly and you have the sun all the time. There are wonderful places to eat and enjoy the lounge situations in the snow on the amazing 2500m altitude slopes. Slopes reach about 3000 meters, so snow is good.

Lower ski lift station is about 7 minutes on feet, easy road. Breakfasts were delightful and included local products! Also, something new / different was available every day. We stay for a dinner couple times and generally were happy with overall food quality (however I would not recommend Khinkali, you can find way better ones nearby).DawidPoland

Flights are expensive and if you are traveling 3-4 persons then cheaper and MUCH better experience you will find in Alps. It was last minute selection as Abu hotel was totally closed even they accepted our reservation ( avoid Abu hotel they are not open for long time there is high grass infront of main entrance). Tsar bani has all you need for pleasant stay. Very modern design, quiet area, excellent breakfast and even in the bathroom is shower box = no wet floor if you had shower. Hotel is perfect, location is good, food is good, clean and warm rooms, 15 min walk to ski lift or free of charge 4x4 in the morning to drop you off. What else do you need? Special thanks to Zura in reception who welcomed me after night flight. Anyway even if you planning trip on your own, stay in this place and you will be well looked after!

We had a great stay in Gudauri, staying in Dandelion. It feels like our home in Gudauri. Delicious food, clean and comfortable rooms, accessible to ski lift and resort by walking. We wanted to have a chill, relaxing vacation and stay in a hotel with a great mountain view. Airport transfers can also be arranged with them. Thank you for the warm welcome and for the wonderful stay.

There is a great spa area with a jacuzzi and a sauna which you can rent just for your group. The food at the restaurant is delicious with a variety of Georgian and world dishes, the breakfast is probably the best I ever had at any ski hotel (but I am Russian, so I could be a little biased here, since they serve blini, Russian pancakes, tvorog etc.). Definitely recommended.
