It was Mt like its advertised it doesn't have balcony the rooms are small hard find had to ring owner several times before to find it its not part of hotel I should of stayed in hotel I wouldn't recommend it wifi is OK but cooking facilities poor 2 rings and microwave basic 40 min walk from carlow Town

It's an obviously old building, which was very cool. The staff were friendly, especially in the restaurant, which had good food--the breakfast was great and the morning staff were so friendly. The location was quite good as well. We were warned that it may be loud at night due to the bar downstairs and the lively crowds, but it was actually nicely quiet, even when the live music was going. Also they have on-site parking.
