The rooms are in the nice colorful house and have a small terrace in the front. The room itself was big enough and clean. Specious bathroom with good shower. I specifically liked the powerful hairdryer, which is exception for the hotels. There is no reception, but it doesn't bather you as the communication with the host is very easy. There is a parking place, which is important for this area if you travel by car. The location is very good, just at the start of pedestrian area of the city.

The view is amazing. It’s lovely having your own balcony and still private. On check in we had such a helpful guy giving us lots of great tips. Breakfast was great too.

We enjoyed staying in the original housing and so close to the marina; we felt very enveloped in the atmosphere of Cinque Terre.

Conveniently located a short walk from the train station and steps from the Mediterranean in Riomaggiore. We were met at the train station and the family was very helpful and welcoming. Rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. Would definitely return.

Property was clean & had everything we needed for our stay. 3 br with 3 separate bathrooms. Great location, right where the tunnel comes out from the train station at the base of the village.

Beautiful Italian town with great restaurants and access to the rest of Cinque Terre.
It does suffer from over tourism with crowded towns and trains and the national walking trails were closed when we were there.

When we arrived, the key was not in the box outside the door. The host didn't respond! So, we made other arrangements. I couldn't believe it. I've never had a problem with a hotel or booking.com before this.

Very beautiful town a must see, however extemely high hills and steps, if you are not too fit it can be difficult to manage, there are other towns in cinque terre that are flatter and you can visit Riomaggiore for the day. There is basically one main street with shops and food area which are quite costly. As it is a small area it is very full of travellers so it can be a bit difficult to access some eateries and viewing areas.

Riomaggiore is quintessential Cinque Terre.
Riomaggiore is quintessential Cinque Terre. It is rugged and beautiful. It is a colorful, bustling fishing village full of friendly people and yummy restaurants, bars, bakeries, little shops, art galleries, etc. And it wasn't as overrun as Vernazza. We stayed on the harbor which I highly recommend. We took a sunset cruise that left steps from our accommodations. After visiting all the towns, it was my favorite, by far.

Riomaggiore was a lovely village to stay in.
Riomaggiore was a lovely village to stay in. I am sure all the towns in Cinque Terre are lovely to stay in. One needs to be a bit in shape to do the hiking or even ride the trains but is an adventure not to be missed! The scenery is spectacular.

Wonderful historic town and the trek options between the towns are a treat. The train also makes it so easy to travel to all the towns. We also did a boat trip from Levanto to see Cinque Terra from the beautiful blue sea. Just lovely, a real highlight. There are also lots of choices of places to eat that seemed quite economical.
The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The bathroom was modern. You need a car to get there and to get to the other locations, which for us was not a problem at all. The location is amazing, easy to get there, easy to find and the place is very quiet. Staff was very friendly and gave us tips on how to go to cinque terre.
There's no elevator and to go to the rooms you need to go down the stairs, so have that in mind if you're carrying lots of stuff or if that's something that bothers you. For us there was no problem.
We have been traveling Italy two weeks, and among all the hotels,Bnb’s,Agriturismo-have to honestly say Lorenza guesthouse was our favorite stay. Genuine people are great when your traveling, and turkey she is one. Couple tips-let Lorenza know beforehand if you have big luggage don’t be like us and try to man the stairs, she will meet you at the station to help accommodate the bags, just give her a heads up. And be sure to wake up early to enjoy her croissants a focaccia with your balcony view!!Grazie Lorenza!
We stayed in 3 hotels in Cinque Terre and this was the best one. It had a lift that helped with moving luggage up to the room, a separate sitting area from the bed where you could spread out a bit, a little area set up for coffee and snacks (provided), and when the windows were closed the street noise could be shut out too. BUT the best part of this hotel was Roberto, the host. He was welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely hospitable. He completely made the stay our best experience in Cinque Terre.
Mario, the caretaker of the apartment, was super nice and friendly. When we checked in, he gave us complimentary water, beer, and wine, and told us all about the Cinque Terre towns and tips on how to get around and where to eat. The room was great, with a fantastic view overlooking Riomaggiore. There was a Nespresso machine in the room as well, but we barely used it as there was a fantastic place that served cappuccino just a 1 min walk away.
We had a Wonderful time in Riomaggiore, Alesandro’s apartment was lovely, it has everything you need. He left us fresh lemons, croissants and a bottle of his homemade limenchello, which was lovely and went down nicely in a Spritz. Amazing location right on the Main Street. Helped us with any questions and queries we had whilst staying in Cinque Terre. Very prompt in replying also! Definitely will return to his apartment and Cinque Terre again.
Veronica was such a lovely helpful host she has thought of every possible thing to make sure you have the best stay. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed from picking us up from the train station to making us some bruschetta and drinks on arrival and helping us plan our day in Cinque Terre.
The room was clean and comfortable with lovely views from the balcony. The hot tub was soo lovely under the stars.
We had a great time in Cinque Terre - would definitely return on our next visit to Italy!
The accommodation and facilities were nothing short of fantastic with great location very close to the train station. The host was extremely kind and made great recommendations in town. We were able to drop our luggage early and the host even assisted with carrying the bags up the stairs.
Would definitely recommend visiting Jolly Roger!
The balcony that overlooks Riomaggiore’s marina was easily the best part of the stay, but the entire flat was also extremely clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed, including bottle opener, wine glasses, and simple breakfast items. Barbara is also welcoming and helpful host, meeting us at the station upon our arrival. We had the best time exploring Cinque Terre and would recommend staying in Malbo wholeheartedly.
Beautiful location, incredibly kind and helpful staff. It was a pleasure having breakfast served on the balcony each morning, with the helpful staff remembering our coffee order. Room was really comfortable and spacious for two people. I will note that Cinque Terre can be difficult to navigate, as this Hotel is at the top of a hill if you have mobility issues you may struggle to get to and from.
This is a super cute apartment right in the heart of the action in Riomaggiore. Davide was great with communication and made us feel very welcome in the property. The steps leafing up the property are quite steep but the view over the street is worth it.
The accommodation was clean and well maintained, it was a great place to base ourselves to explore the Cinque Terre
This was an excellent full apartment with a magnificent view over the city and sea. I didn’t really get it when I booked, but the property is also EXTREMELY conveniently located, making it perfect for exploration of Riomaggiore and the rest of Cinque Terre. The host was so helpful and kind, don’t underestimate her guidance!
The location of this room is absolutely magnificent- it might have the best view in all of cinque terre! The woman who greeted us was extremely helpful, friendly etc.! We would highly recommend this room to anyone. If you can spend the extra dollars, the room with the hot tub has the most incredible patio of all time.
Our stay in Riomaggiore was the highlight of our trip so far. We loved the location of the apartment.
We were very central, close to shops, restaurants and the train station. We would stay here again for sure if we returned to Cinque Terre. It was also the best town out of the 5 in Cinque Terre.
The host and her assistants are extremely kind, accommodating and helpful! The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, shower water stayed hot and had good pressure. Short walk from the train station, and a beautiful view of the ocean! The best part! 10/10 recommend this stay for Cinque Terre!
had the best 3 days in Cinque Terre, the guest house location is perfect, got the elevator at the train station take you straight to the guest house, close to restaurants, bars and less than 5 mins by foot to the harbour, make sure you take the see view room, it’s all worth it !
This was the most incredible place to stay in all of Cinque Terre! The location perfect and views were breathtaking. Amazing value and you can tell the owner cares deeply about the care of the property and the customer experience. I truly hope to return one day soon.
Davide, the host, is especially helpful and accessible. He met us near the property and led us the rest of the way. The apartment is architecturally appealing. Super cute. The bed is very comfortable.
It's a great place to stay for a couple days in Cinque Terre.
Everything was clean and there was a terrace to sit outside on, which was nice to get away from the crowds. It was a great apartment and location for the price. The host also gave recommendations on the best restaurants and locations in cinque terre.
The view from the terrace was fantastic! The room had everything I needed for a weekend in Cinque Terre. Best of all was Maristella's hospitality - in terms of directions, restaurant reservations, and even a ride to the bus during a train strike.
