Charming hotel in a great location. The breakfast was excellent, there’s a really friendly, helpful lady who makes most of the food - amazing ricotta and potato cakes and lots of lovely baking. She makes exactly the sort of coffee you ask for and she was always ready to make us a second drink,

Hotel style and view is fantastic! It is very romantic place.
Beautiful old hilltop town with so much to see. There is the Rocca Castle at the top of the town well worth the visit with spectacular views. The Duomo (Cathedral) in Piazza del Duomo, beautiful ceiling paintings. Lots of old narrow streets and lovely market squares, lots of places to stop for a coffee, glass of wine, lunch. Could spend alot longer here than we did. It's very hilly but there is an amazing underground moving escalator system that you can hop on to make it easier to get up those hills! On my previous visit to Spoleto, I stayed at Hotel Clitunno which I also highly recommend.

The view at the top of the mountain using the tramway was exquisite and seeing the bridge and fort....Loved the Duomo beautiful beyond..the old streets...not many tourists...the streets so interesting. It was easy to get around..loved the piazza below our accommodation. Our accommodations were beyond my expectation. The wrap around terrazzo was such a bonus and a special way to end our trip. The old very old church just outside added to the beauty. and the tramway a walk away, The views from our terrazzo was spectacular!.

Spoleto is a city dating back thousands of years, where monuments, fortresses and wonderful awe inspiring churches exist. A modern underground walking/moving escalators and elevators assist young and old alike to move around this wonderful ancient city. There are numerous shops, boutiques, indoor/outdoor restaurants and bars to serve the public. Most important are the friendly people of Spoleto. A must see destination for all.

A really interesting town which is very easy to navigate with underground walkways and escalators. Easy access and easy parking, we wished we could have stayed for more than one night. A lovely Duomo overlooked by hilltop castle from which there is an excellent view.
The apartment was wonderful, comfortable, beautifully decorated and immaculate. Our host Liuba was lovely and very helpful. The apartment building is located at the beginning of the Old Town and for us that was very convenient because we not only toured Spoleto, we also visited other areas so it was easy to come and go. We parked in the public lot right next to the building. Spoleto is very pretty, La Rocca amazing! And the town is the perfect location for visiting Marmore Falls, Rasiglia, Montefalco, Foligno, Spello. Thank you Liuba!
The hotel is a beautiful building, with stunning views in virtually every direction. Our room was comfortable and tastefully furnished. Breakfast was amongst the best we've had in Italy. And the staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. All three restaurant recommendations were spot on, as were their directions to get to one of the churches outside of town. Staying in the heart of a place like Spoleto ought to be a pleasure, but with so good a hotel it became even more memorable.
The staff is incredibly friendly and is comfortably focused on ensuring that any concern or issue is resolved. As is almost routine this time of year, there was some renovation in progress and the elevator was not working. We were notified after we booked and well before we reached the hotel. There was a WiFi issue and the staff was quick to engage in finding root cause, offering alternatives, working one to one with guests and their phones. The issue was resolved within 24 hours.
Their picture of the 13th century pedestrian bridge is no lie - there’s an amazing view out over the ravine and across to the Monteluco side of the valley. It’s quiet, the whole of the “centro storico” is an easy walk and the staff is super friendly and helpful. We loved the enormous windows in our room, with the wonderful view. If you like museums, get the Spoleto card - you can visit all 6 museums for a reduced price within 7 days.
A wonderful stay at the Villa on my "Via di Francesco". The Villa is between Trevi and Spoleto in Poreta and is a great place to relax in rural italy after the busy Towns. Beautifull Villa with a very spacious room. The host is very helpfull and offered me the choice of either have a local make me a simple diner or bring me to a restaurant. I did chose the simple dinner (bread, tomato, egg, vegetable pie) which was a delight.
Very clean and peaceful. Perfect location, breakfast was good and you can go to mass as well. Everyone at the property was very nice and welcoming. They even had a coffee machine and vending machine with water and snacks for reasonable prices. Close to sights of interest and near the moving sidewalk/ escalators if you want to visit the sights at the top of the hill. Great stop while walking the way of St Francis.
Elena's place was exceptional. Before we even arrived into Spoleto, she was in touch about the apartment, information about the area, making us feel welcome and like returning to a well known place. The flat has one of the most beautiful views of anywhere we have stayed in Spoleto. It is perfect for a couple, a beautiful respite, and Elena was very kind even when we left our plug!
Charming farm stay in the hills just outside of Spoleto. The hosts were warm and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They also gave us excellent recommendations for new places to check out in the area. We loved the dinner with fresh products from the farm! We hope to be back in the summer to take advantage of the activities available on the grounds.
Lovely hotel. Just outside Spoleto so you need a car. Big room and big bathroom, well equipped. We were able to park directly outside our room. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Used the swimming pool twice. Water is a bit cold but fine once you are in. Nice breakfast.
exceptionally well restored ancient convent located in the historic center of Spoleto. Run by owners Lori and Justin with great attention to detail and to guest service. it was by far the nicest property we stayed in during a two-plus week tour in Italy.
The location was excellent and Nazzaro was the best host. He was very helpful and entertaining. The house itself was huge and belong to a cardinal who lavished money throughout the area making all the other houses in the area as splendid.
Very quiet place, typical farmer's house of XVII/XVIIIth century, located in a charming hamlet near Spoleto. Cinzia, the owner, knows very well Umbria and its inummerable cultural treasury. Very good advice, also for a nearby trattoria !
The Palazzo Dragoni is beautiful, the rooms are large and luxurious, and it's in an ideal location in Spoleto. They went above and beyond to help me out with a car issue. Stay here -- both the people and the palazzo are amazing!
Incredible historic apartment with lovely furnishings and all you need for a pleasant stay. Best neighborhood in Spoleto too. Cafes and shops nearby. The owners are so kind! We were made to feel at home. Highly recommend!
A unique setting in a quiet corner of Umbria (but close to Spoleto and other interesting locations to visit). Extremely relaxing in a very 'natural' setting. Super nice restaurant (of 'star' quality, both food and service).
Great hotel and excellent customer service from a brilliant host. She was very helpful with the check-in process, sending us a map of the nearby parking lot and plenty of recommendations for local restaurants
