Vasto is not too big and not too small.
Vasto is not too big and not too small.
A large number of good restaurants.
And not too far for wineries or trabocchi.
After a month of visiting very small old towns in Puglia, we were happy that Vasto had more to offer.

I loved this Hotel!
I loved this Hotel! The staff were helpful on arrival and throughout my stay. The room was comfortable with a balcony and bathroom. The room serviced daily and the breakfast had many choices and was great. Across the road a small church with a rest area, views over the coast and ocean.
A short stroll to the park, a delightful walk by the children's play area and the pond, a small Cafe and fountain, cross the road and you are in the old town. Restaurants, bars, shopping and a history dating back before Greek settlement. I recommend this Hotel for travelers to Vasti.

When visiting Vasto, try to stay at B&B alla Canale.
When visiting Vasto, try to stay at B&B alla Canale. It is absolutely amazing, just a short drive from Vasto city center. The property is right on the Adriatic, with both a terrace and balcony overlooking beautiful landscaping and with steps down to the shore. The hosts are very welcoming, and, boy, did they put out a spread for breakfast! And, unlike much of Italy, they actually have secured parking for a large vehicle. Highly recommended.

Go for the beaches and nature area!
Go for the beaches and nature area! There’s quite a few paved and off road trails for biking and walking. The natural reserve at Punta Aderci is gorgeous but there’s also several small beaches just north of the historic Centre of Vasto. Great place to escape the hustle and bustle of more well known beach cities, without sacrificing any of the beauty or Italian experience. Definitely recommend renting bikes for a day or two!

Old city that charms you with its well preserved buildings.
Old city that charms you with its well preserved buildings. The modern fusions with the tradition just in perfectly harmony. People is kind and beaches are to die for.
Hanging around the Piazza makes you feel like a character from Fellini's film, isn't easy to get around Vasto, but believe me when I say the magic from the place worth's to be experienced.

Vasto offers wonderful fine dining experiences that are a must-go places such as Bottega Culinaria, CiboMatto, La spasetta e molti altri. Greatest sea on the east coast of Italy facing Greece, a place to relax and enjoy life to its best.
This resort was by far one of the best resorts my family stayed at in Italy while we were there we stayed at 3 different places and this place was able to get us whatever we wanted at any time they helped us with language barriers made phone calls for us set up transportation 2 and from the hotel and also helped us with booking a charter because I couldn't speak fluid Italian. The staff was beyond helpful always asking us if we needed anything and everything was as what the pictures were showing online and we were over delighted
Pro's: The apartment was very clean, & quite spacious. Handy having 2 toilets with sinks, upstairs & down. Nice terrace for sitting outside, off the 3rd floor bedroom.
Large refrigerator & excellent room a/c on the first 2 floors. Beds were quite comfortable. Owner was very responsive, & helpful if contacted.
The location was good for getting on a bus, to go to the bus or train depot or the Marina, etc: about a 6-8 minute walk; also near center of old Vasto.
All in all, a nice place to stay!
The property is totally renovated - all modern and beautifully decorated. All areas are kept immaculately clean. Very comfortable beds & pillows. The drive to Vasto beach was 5 minutes away.
The breakfast provided by the host - Stefano, was amazing! Full breakfast- eggs, cheeses, cold cuts, fresh croissants, fruits etc…
Stefano was so friendly & accommodating- he treated us like family. We loved everything about this place.
Will definitely be back one day.

I rarely vote 10 on each question
The B&B is located in the historic center, but in a quiet location, therefore very silent.
The room is huge, with a huge bathroom (in the shower 2 people, or more if you want to party, can enter easily)
It is clean, comfortable, newly furnished.
The host is nice
The price, I don't know if it depends on whether it's low season or not, but it's very cheap (please don't raise it).
The breakfast is perfect
And Vasto is pretty (a pleasant surprise)
This is a great simple apartment, the bed was firm but comfortable, it was very clean and the wrap-around balcony gave a great view of the sea! The host was very helpful, he didn't speak any English, and I had little Italian, but we managed with Google translate and lots of laughter! There are some shops and restaurants near the apartment, and the bus to Vasto old town takes 5 minutes and stops right outside.
The breakfast was lovely with fresh baked delicious pastries and cakes. Focaccia sandwiches, you hurt and fruit, coffee and tea. It’s a walk down to the beach as this place is up on the hill. There is a city buses (#1,4&8 bus)and drop you off in the centre near the hotel. Gorgeous views! You are in the heart of the centre at night with shops, music and restaurants. Rino was a good host who communicated well.
I've stayed here numerous times over the past ten years and the hotel only gets better. It is centrally located with some recent renovations, great wifi, good beds and is impeccably clean with a great, helpful staff and a very good breakfast. The cleaners air out each room everyday and in between stays, a welcome feature of a well managed hotel.
Gianni and family have created a gem in Vasto.
Everything! Beautiful property, nice and modern room, amazing views. Our host’s communication was great and she was so lovely throughout our stay. We also loved the ‘grown-up’ hostel concept - we can help ourselves to anything in the kitchen and use the coffee machine etc whenever. Great location too - walking distance to Vasto old town and its many bars/restaurants.
The staff was outstanding. This is a real gem of a hotel. The outside seating was the most comfortable I have ever experienced in Italy. The breakfast was very good. The room was neat and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. It has a good shower. I will stay here whenever I am in the area.a
The breakfast was perfect! The view was absolutely amazing. We have never been to Italy, let alone Vasto and we believe we were in a perfect location! Quick drive down to the beach. Not an easy walk down to the beach, but we did do it once (age 31). Easy walk to Vasto's downtown area.
Great apartment, super clean and an extremely convenient location to explore Vasto!
The hotel manager was very accommodating and organised a taxi from the train station for us, as well as some restaurant recommendations.
Having stayed in 5 different locations in Vasto over the years this was definitely the best - walking distance from beachfront, old town and a little local deli and coffee shop for the morning's first coffee and pastry.
nice people, big and cleaned room, good and various breakfast ... they have a garage!!! Location: a 15-20' walk to downtown, close to a playground...we come back every time we need to stop in Vasto :)
Excellent location Danilo was very kind and generous with his time and met all our needs with all of our questions and suggested the best Vasto can offer. Excellent.
The location is perfect and the staff were amazing
The view from breakfast is the best in Vasto
Rooms were modern and clean, we will definitely be back!
