Overall Balkans are not for us as we had some previous experience with Montenegro. We don't really like fat food, people smoke everywhere and even the capital Belgrade looks dirty and you can feel different smells, you know. But still the architecture is really interesting and we loved our walks through the streets, bicycle culture seems to be great as well.

Thank you for your unprofessional response. That clearly states your educational and customer service level!! By saying "I used your coffee machine, broke it, and caused a flood in your hotel" is just outrageous!!!!!! It was prepared for me by your staff! There was "no sign posted anywhere, do not use this machine" !! Before you unfairly accuse another guest of breaking it, perhaps you might add it in the future! From 9 pm to 9 am I was unable to access the internet. It wasn't inaccessible "for just 45 minutes", as you said in your comment. First and first, you ought to train your staff in providing a good customer service, and it goes without saying that the person who replied back to my review ought to have done it herself/himself first!!!!!! Not the best city for vacation.
Not the best city for vacation. We stopped over for a night due to the lengthy distance between Dubrovnik and Romania. Too much graffiti, kind of dirty as well and it doesn’t feel as safe as other countries that we visited. But the accommodation and the traditional food were a very pleasurable experience.

Belgrade is a beautiful city but the accommodation is very poor for the rating given and restaurants tried to add a surcharge to the bill. The airport is very basic with no restaurant or any food to be purchased anywhere.

I had low expectations of the city. In fact it was relatively welcoming and fun. It appears quite lively. English spoken widely. I did not experience negative attitudes. Food was a bonus, good quality and value. I doubt vegetarians are well catered for.Patrick

He helped with registration, which must be for any tourist who come to Serbia. Showed me a map where were the best places in Belgrade 2. Location was excellent. To the tourist centre Old Town is about 15-20 mins by walk or on any number of tram for 5-10 min, near flat are placed beautiful parks and architecture buildings 3. Flat's has everything for a good living: kitchen staff, washing machine, wifi , large TV with Android TV console

Our flight was at night and the receptionist, who was here after midnight, did't speak English, only Serbian, but there were no problems to communicate. Day's staff speaks English good, is very responsive and helpful. I really liked surrounding , a lot of green areas. You can go to Zemun, which is a very nice suburb, different from Belgrade.
