Just 1.6 km from Union Square, Courtyard by Marriott San Francisco Downtown/Van Ness Ave offers spacious rooms with 40-inch LED TVs and free WiFi. The decor of the hotel was great and the room was lovely. The bed was super comfortable too. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel was good for accessing downtown and the surrounding area. There were good transport links nearby for venturing further afield. We had a really lovely stay.

Centrally located between Van Ness Avenue and San Francisco’s stylish Russian Hill, Castle Inn is just 1.6 km from Chinatown, North Beach and Fisherman’s Wharf. All rooms offer free WiFi. Super clean, comfortable beds, friendly personnel; there even was an iron! Location was A+.

Very conveniently positioned, only 10 minutes drive from Golden Gate Bridge and 5 min walk from Lombard street. We got lucky and had a room with amazing views of the bay and the bridge. Very clean and safe area.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise! For a relatively cheap price per night, you get a recently-renovated hotel in the heart of SF.
