Pension has been in family for years and they do an excellent job! Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great in charming breakfast room. Location is perfect to walk to city center for dinner and to reach area attractions nearby. Great location overall. Beautiful view of the mountains too.

There were many choices for the typical German breakfast, hearty breads, yogurt, muesli, jam, hard boiled eggs, etc. The breakfast room was very tastefully decorated as was the room that we stayed in. All of the staff that we met were very friendly and professional and spoke English with us when our limited German failed us. The room we stayed in appeared to be newly renovated, including the bathroom, and it was decorated with stunning photos from the area. The kitchenette came with a mini bar and all the utensils, glasses and plates that we needed for our stay. The view from the balcony faced the beautiful Karwendel mountains, had it been warm enough, we would have spent enjoying the view from the balcony. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood just a five minute walk from the train station and very close to the main street of Mittenwald. My travel companion and I would not hesitate to stay at this property again. We were pleasantly surprised with this property, it has the charming Bavarian guesthouse feel but with a modern touch and excellent service.

Perfekt stopp i underbara Mittenwald. Trevligt bemötande och magisk frukost med färska bär i mysig atmosfär. Nära till vandringsleder och stadskärna med restauranger. Välstädat rum och skön säng. Rekommenderas varmt! Vi kommer gärna tillbaka! 😀

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Bichlerhof. Everything was as per expectations, and the room had a great view too. Room size was quite big and there was ample parking space. We had a minor issue with communicating since we arrived late and the main reception staff was away. But nothing that Google translate can't help you with ! Will love to stay again.

The view from my window was incredibly beautiful - I’m not sure that’s true for all of the units though. It was clean and breakfast was pretty good
