We had an exceptional stay at the Palazzo Cortesi, located in the heart of the old city in Macerata, a beautiful hilltop town. Although the building was historical, the room was completely updated and so well done. It was spacious, light filled, beautiful furnishings and comfortable bed. Our room even had a small terrace on which to sit and relax with a glass of prosecco. The staff were extremely helpful, arranging a taxi for us on the morning of our departure - not an easy thing to do in that town. We loved it!

The location was beautiful and very peaceful. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. Bathroom was well appointed with lovely big bath sheets to dry after the shower. We booked breakfast and it was amazing and excellent value for .money Our host was very helpful and gave us some excellent suggestions for venues for dinner and also a guide to where we could park in the town.

The very large covered terrace is an advantage when the sun shines bright. The appartment is everything you want. Clean, modern, spacious and with quality finishing. Add the breathtaking views, the quiet country side and the friendly hosts John and Jacky, and don't hesitate: book as it's a steal for the price they charge !!
