Situata a Ponta Delgada, a 3,2 km da Portas da Cidade e a 3,7 km dal Santuario Nossa Senhora da Esperanca, la CFS Azores Guest House offre sistemazioni con WiFi gratuito, aria condizionata, piscina... Everything. The room was very clean and big, everything looks brand new. The bed is very confortable and big, the bathroom is very spacious, the facilities are great, the staff is super helpful, especially Carlos which gave us some very helpful advice on how to visit the island along with some maps. They even have an elevator(lift) even if there aren't many stairs. You don't need to stay closer to Ponta Delgada as you will mostly travel by car and from CFS Azores you are 7-10 minutes away from the city center where you can eat and do stuff if you want to. It was great altogether, I 100% recommend it and would return.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of sea, Solar de Santo André is a recently renovated guest house located in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao. highly recommend staying at Solar de Santos André! I was lucky to stay there 4 nights (3 in the studio and 1 in the appartment), it is really a beautifull place! The house is a museum in itself, you can feel that history took place in those rooms, the 'library' is incredible and the kitchen is a dream. Eduarda will give you lots of tips and advice on the island, and if you wish she will tell you the story of the house. You trully feel at home and in a cocoon within the city. The breakfasts are awsome (thank you Maria as well :) I'll be back for sure!!

Avevo prenotato tre notti in questa struttura, alla fine ce ne ho passate dieci e mi sono trovato benissimo. +La cura delle relazioni con il cliente è superlativa: per quanto mi riguarda, posso affermare che il proprietario della struttura fa il suo lavoro in maniera straordinaria e si merita un 10 pieno +Posizione: l'appartamento si trova letteralmente a un minuto a piedi dalla piazza principale della città. Proprio di fronte alla porta d'ingresso c'è una lavanderia, ci sono molti bar/ristoranti nei dintorni, anche i supermercati sono piuttosto vicini +Rapporto qualitá/prezzo eccellente +La camera: letto tra i più comodi che abbia avuto in viaggi turistici, c'era abbastanza spazio per tutto, numero di prese sufficiente +Il bagno era in condivisione con un'altra stanza: enorme, funzionale, acqua calda in abbondanza, doccia abbastanza alta da non essere scomoda, asciugamani sempre puliti e saponi inclusi +Cucina: fornita di tutto, molto spaziosa +Sala: non l'ho di fatto mai usata, ma grande e accogliente +Internet: veloce, ho guardato un paio di film in streaming senza alcun problema

CITY STONE HOUSE in Ponta Delgada provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. The host is extremely polite, welcoming, and helpful! He gives amazing recommendations for restaurants and things to do all around the island. The room was beautiful and very clean! We enjoyed every second of it!

La Pousada da Vila si trova a Vila Franca do Campo, a 5 km da Lagoa do Congro. The owner was a real friendly person, and very welcoming. She made sure I was properly checked in and everything was in order, and gave some extra tips about the small town.

Dotata di una terrazza, la Farol Guesthouse si trova ad Angra do Heroísmo. Interamente coperta dalla connessione WiFi gratuita, questa struttura offre una cucina e un salone in comune. Loved the facility. The overall area was very nice. The outdoor space was lovely and the kitchen (for shared use was nice). The room was a little small, but very functional. The breakfast (included in price) was excellent.

We stayed in the unit on the first floor that led out to the pool. It is bright, modern and very comfortable. The apartment had everything that we needed for our 1.5 week trip, including a crib and high chair for our baby. The hosts were incredibly friendly, accommodating and quick to respond to any of our requests. The location of the apartment is very central and was a great base for exploring the rest of the island.

Situato a Horta, a 700 m da Praia da Conceição, l'Estrela do Atlântico offre una piscina stagionale all'aperto, un parcheggio privato gratuito, un bar e un giardino. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in 45 years of travel. Artistic and funky but also warm, friendly and totally unpretentious. The hotel is an old style property, airy and light with big windows and views to the Pico volcano. It is like a gem of an oasis amidst more recent development on the edge of town, but is only ten mins walk down to the big square and port. Breakfast in the spacious dining room is exceptional and the ladies who run the hotel are charming and helpful. We had the extra benefit and unexpected bonus of the Suite, which was like having your own flat with a terrace! There are some trendy restaurant options down the hill with good food - but rather pricey wine, but we found a couple of traditional older places (Medalhas & Lima) that we liked. For whale-watching, Naturalist are a good science-based outfit and if you are short of time or transport they do an excellent half day island tour too - very informative and not touristy. You can do both in one day!
