Location! Amazing. Right in train tunnel and no stairs to climb after a long day of climbing stairs. Very convenient and personally did not find train noise to be an issue. AC! Works great. Amazing spot off hiking trail. Basic Italian house, no frills but everything you need. Hiking lovers paradise! Drink your morning coffee and look out at the vineyards. Ocean view is around the corner- simply walk along terraced ledge. Can walk into cute but busy town of Monorola- or take shuttle bus easily. W even walked back in the dark after dinner happily. But not for people who cannot easily climb stairs and manage on uneven terrain.

We had a wonderful stay in Casa delle Terrazze in Riomaggiore! Colette wecomed us and everything was smooth and easy! She communicated with us through whatsapp and was very helpful and responsive. She came to fetch us at the entrance of the village and showed us the way to the parking place which was very convenient. The house is super clean and welcoming. It was perfect for our family of 5. The view on the hills and the sea is very nice. The Wifi is excellent. The house is on the higher extremity of the village but the elevator from the train station was a big help, and we managed nicely to go back home at the end of the day. And of course Cinque Terre is fantastic!! We were happy to be in Riomaggiore at the first village. From there it was easier to visit the other villages by train.

It was in a small town very close to all the Cinque Terre. The bus stop immediately in front of the town allows for easy access to 2 of the Terre and the train from there provides easy access to the rest. Excellent renovation on the apartment, comfortable beds, heating/cooling and good water pressure.
