Exceptional location and well provisioned flat. The view from the bedrooms was incredible and the host was extremely helpful with our arrival/leaving arrangements when the boats were cancelled due to sea swell. .

This was a self-catering apartment. It was located a short walk from the town centre and the harbour, in a quiet street. My wife and I thought it was in excellent condition. Very spacious. The owner, who is based elsewhere for most of the time, has appointed a wonderful couple to look after the property. Whoever stays at the property will be in good hands! Santa Margherita is a lovely town and an ideal spot from which to tour the local area, including Portofino and the Cinque Terre.

The view from the front patio is very nice. We enjoyed the patio along with a glass of wine every evening of our stay. We bought a weekly buss pass which worked out amazing. The bus stop is close to the property and we were even able to take it to the train station when we left for Rome.

I’d say that’s the reason why this room is quite pricey, but it is Portofino. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and eager to please always with a smile.

Mini fridge and cooking space work fine, there’s even a small table and two dining chairs …. Nespresso machine ! WiFi fine. Perhaps the main plus is simply that it’s affordable, unlike most other options in town.
