Alex and Marie were lovely hosts, so friendly and helpful. The apartment was perfect, very spacious and clean and with beautiful views over the rolling hills and down to Hauterives. It was also totally peaceful as it was away from the town but still very close if you wished to dine out or go to the village for any other reason. There was free wifi available and ample free parking on the property.

The owner/host was very charming and very knowledgeable about the chateau, the area, and the wines. Service was outstanding. Beautiful setting. Little surprises everywhere you looked. For a small cottage, the lounge/dining room is very spacious and light, with patio doors onto the south facing terrace, which is next to a river over the wall. The view across the fields is lovely. The kitchen is very well equipped and the boundary is secure which was ideal for our labrador. The house and the grounds are immaculate and the setting is delightful. Jean-Claude Longere was very kind and helpful about the local area. There are bicycles available.
