Japie’s Yard is a cosy one-bedroom apartment walking distance from the beach and centre town. The apartment has one spacious bedroom with a separate bathroom and a sunny, private patio to enjoy your morning coffee or sundowner in the late afternoon. The bathroom is equipped with a bath and shower combination, toilet and basin. The simple decorated bedroom is fitted with a queen size bed made up with pure cotton linen and good quality towels. The kitchen has ample natural light and makes for a warm space to do your own cooking. The comfortable living space has a TV and uncapped WiFi throughout the apartment. If television is not your thing, there is a good selection of books available in the lounge. Guests will have their own entrance from the street and private parking.

Three stones away you'll find a quint little bar with live music, perfect for those who are thirsty after a long drive. A small organic deli selling some of Namibia’s best meats and vegetables together with a local coffee roaster, where some serious African beans are blended, are also situated just around the corner. The Namibian Marine Aquarium and our famous landing Jetty are just minutes away by foot, and a welcome stroll next to the sea after days in the dust in our beautiful Namib desert. There are a number of "must-eat-at" restaurants nearby; we will tell you more when you are here. With restaurants and other facilities galore, the surrounding area is alive with activity and fellow travellers and it has some nights of revelry but yet maintains its peaceful charm as many a wanderer prepares for the rest of the days ahead.
